This review is quite over due I kept putting it off because I hate leaving negative reviews for local business' but every time I thought about my experience here I felt frustrated so I want to share my experience. To keep it short I did the mat training which was 3 classes but I was let in on day 2 which I thought was strange. I, personally, didn't feel like the information I received in class was very in depth and didn't make me feel prepared to start teaching. I was not aware of a time frame that anything had to be finished so when I reached out about taking the test to get my certificate the following year I was told my classes had expired and the test was difficult so I should redo the training... for another $800... when I expressed my concerns to Jillian I didn't't feel like a valued client but an inconvenience. Anyway I'm out the original $800 and have no certificate. I do not recall a response allowing me to continue the certification if I missed that then my apologies. I will change my review to 3 stars if that is the case. To update I have never been there in the past several years I actually moved out of state so I’m not sure what you’re talking about when you state I’ve been...
Read moreI have been a member of Pilates + Yoga for a year and a half. My very first class at the studio was filled with nervous excitement…and that class ultimately changed not only my body but my mindset around fitness. Pilates has strengthened, leaned, and toned every single muscle. From Mat Pilates, to Barre, to the Reformer; every class has me feeling stronger, more confident, and completely comfortable in my body. Pilates was my first love; then came Yoga! I’ve learned to listen to my body, breathe with awareness and intention, and truly understand and focus on my mental and physical well-being. I get to do all of this with the guidance and support of some of the most talented and educated Pilates and Yoga instructors in Las Vegas. I’m grateful to be a member of this studio and to have such great relationships with the instructors and clients. Class variety, studio atmosphere, amazing instructors, cleanliness, retail…this studio has everything you need. I wouldn’t be...
Read moreI have been a member at P+Y for over two years now and I can honestly say that I still love going there and being a part of this community. All of the instructors are very helpful. I receive a lot of individual attention and guidance when I’m class. I started coming for a relaxing Yin yoga class on Wednesday nights and now, I try to go to as many classes as I can-both reformer and Mat. Another thing I love about P+Y is the variety of people that come to the studio in regards to age and physical abilities. You can be a person that is used to doing CrossFit or just starting out in your fitness journey and you will be welcomed and encouraged at P+Y. Big shout out to Kim, Tracey, Smithy, Andrea, Kerry, and Susie, who have all really helped me to improve my strength and abilities. P+Y has helped me to feel and be stronger and more confident inside and outside...
