OMG! š³ You have to check out Basil Vegan Thai & Sushiāit's so delicious, it might just convince you to go vegan! They serve the best vegan Thai and sushi in Las Vegas! What I love is that they don't rely too much on fake vegan meats; instead, they use tofu, fresh vegetables, and jackfruit for their sushi š£ and Thai dishes! Honestly, youād think you were eating meat, but itās all plant-based! Itās simply 𤩠amazing!
Picking a favorite dish is tough because everything was fantastic, but the standout for me was their incredible plant-based sushi! We tried the Salmon Nigiri (roasted seasoned orange bell pepper on sushi rice), Tuna Nigiri (roasted seasoned tomato on sushi rice), and Eel Nigiri (cooked eggplant on sushi rice topped with sweet soy and sesame seeds). Plus, we sampled a variety of other delicious rolls!
For the Thai food, we had Pad Thai, green curry, and fried rice, among many other dishes! They even offered a refreshing lemongrass tea. And for dessert, you can't miss the warm sticky rice with mangoāsuch a delightful touch! The black sesame cheesecake was to die for!
If you find yourself in the area, definitely give this place a try, whether you're vegan or notāit will make you want to embrace veganism! They also have another location on the northwest side of town called Daikon, which is fantastic as well. What makes Basil unique is their emphasis on Thai dishes, all of which were absolutely amazing, and I didnāt miss the meat at all!
As an omnivore and a foodie, I know when Iāve found good food. I hope youāll support this incredible local gemāI want them to thrive because their food is just that good! Support your locals, and eat local! š½ļøā¤ļø

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is Daikonās sister and opened up about 5 months ago. They both have the same owner so we werenāt surprised when the menu was the same but with more Thai options.
Like Daikon, this restaurant is just as delicious. Our favorite was the sesame chicken rice as itās unique in its flavor and texture. All of the rolls was extremely delicious, but our favor was the chefs special: golden knight roll (we can see why itās a special).
For dessert we had the molten lava cake and we couldnāt believe that it was vegan. The chocolate was sweet but not too sweet and it was tasty overall. We also tried the deeper fried bananas and then coconut cream was the best part. Bananas were well flavor and fried.
Service was excellent as the staff know us by names now. Fantastic restaurant overall and weāre proud at how far they have come. Definitely one of the best vegan restaurants on our list so it is highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām always scared to try new vegan places because Iāve got my āspotsā that I know are good for my much anticipated outings. I took a chance on Basil Vegan and itās now probably the top spot. Iām sort of a sesame āchickenā connoisseur and this is the best in town by far, and there are some good options out there. I canāt believe I didnāt come sooner. Current favorites are the sesame chicken, dynamite pockets, and Thai iced tea, but nothing has been a miss yet. If I didnāt still have some leftovers in the fridge from yesterday, Iād be sad I wasnāt going there tonight! Canāt wait for the next round!
Service was great, and the place is nice and clean, which can sometimes be hard to find. If youāre on the fence, definitely go, get the sesame āchicken,ā and prepare for liftoff. Also, itās good as takeout, but eating in canāt be beat. It takes it next level when itās straight out of...
