I am very pissed off with Spectrum. I was a customer of Astrea for my internet service until they were recently bought by spectrum. I had great service with Astrea and great customer service. If I had a problem they would send a technician out to my home to correct it, as well as when I acquired their service, they sent a technician out to hook everything up and make sure everything was working properly. Spectrum sent me equipment in the mail and sent instructions for ME to install it. I am a disabled veteran and have issues getting down on the floor and back up and the only other person in my home is my 85-year-old mother who lives with me, so she can do it either. Never once did I receive a call from spectrum offering any assistance. I just called and spoke to someone this morning which is Wednesday and the earliest they can get someone out is Saturday. As of this morning the turned off my old service so I now have ZERO internet. I have smart devices that need internet to function, including a cell booster because I live in a rural area and don't have good cell service. So, if something happens where I need to call emergency services I don't think I will be able to call. This is completely unacceptable. My Metro by T-Mobile that I had when I moved here was awesome! I can’t wait to go back to that service. Now I’m forced to wait until I pay off my iPhone that I purchased before I can switch back.
And on another note, the home internet service through this company is terrible and even the employees say that they are switching to the new broadband fiber optics that being installed all over town.

Read moreI am moving out of state and called to cancel my service on the 27th of July, wanted disconnect on 31st. The 30th I got a bill for a whole month of service of $102!!! Called and said must be a mistake I have a bill due August 15th I paid my bill in full July 15th. The said your billing statement runs from the 28th to the 28th each month and we don't prorate. So 3 days of service they charged me $102!!! Please do not use this company they have HORRIBLE policies and even more miserable people working for them. If in the 27th they told me that I would be charged for a whole month I WOULD HAVE DISCONNECTED ON THE 28TH!!! There are many other options now choose someone else.
