Starbucks — Restaurant in Escanaba

I’m a regular every morning before work. In the last week the coffee has been terrible, complained once, got a free one next day- same thing awful, I paid for and asked for extra shot and it taste like coffee flavored milk! Went to the Marquette store yesterday and actually got the taste of the coffee this time- same order Escanaba screwed up. Employees are RUDE at the main Escanaba store- there is 2 good ones at the Meijer. Then there’s the rewards transactions. Will call Starbucks main line to complain. Do the dash and can’t redeem 400 points on item over $20 and this manager here NOT willing to call another store or supervisor to ask how. Was told it’s my account?! I’ve already saved and used this many stars in other items I’ve gotten over $20 and paid the difference. Fine with me- I’ll support the local coffee owner around the corner. Much friendlier service and cheaper coffee that tastes like actual coffee. Screw the rewards- not worth the hassle!!! Don’t expect a regular Starbucks experience from this store....

The staff is nice/friendly. This particular Starbucks seems to run out of a lot of items though. I can deal with that. However, I was appalled when I ordered a puppacino/pup cup for my dog and was told no, we don’t do those. I asked why and was told “it’s a lot of wasted whipped cream for us.” WASTED?! That’s a terrible way of looking at it. Pup cups are part of the fun of Starbucks! I’ve been to so many Starbucks over the years and never have I encountered this. Most unprofessional, and slow service I’ve ever experienced. If you want to hold a line for ticket times you should probably do that at the window and not over the speakers where the customers in line can hear you talking about how ANOTHER EMPLOYEE can stay there as long as they want. Talk about your shift trades and huge food orders when it’s not rush hour. The manager Audrey also did not care that all of the other cars behind could hear all of the rude comments made about them.
