We've been getting our hamburger meat from Cliff's for over 30 years. Cliff and his staff are old-fashioned style butchers who know their way around any cut you throw at them. Their clients range from high-end restaurants to local folks like us who just want fresh, tasty hamburger that has some actual flavor. The store is also famous for their sandwiches and you can get your chips and soda right there. They have some side salads in the deli and they carry a variety of specialty foods and sauces for your meats. They have a wheelchair accessible entrance and can be convenient for a quick one or two item run, depending on the season. You can place your order over the phone and that’s a good idea during the holidays when customer orders for roasts and turkeys ramp up. Service is “New England-ish”, so don’t expect a lot of small talk. But if you have a question about meat and want a bit of an education, they’ll be happy to answer your questions. Read moreIf you're looking for great quality meats, this is the place to go. They will custom cut for you. And they do special orders for things like Christmas & Thanksgiving. They also smoke their own stuff. Everything from bacon to kielbasa to seafood. They're the only place I know that has smoked shrimp & scallops. They have marinated meats as well. The thai chili chicken breast is one of my personal favorites. The apple cinnamon pork chops are as well.
Looking for a sandwich? They make those as well. Lunchtime during the week they have hot meat sandwiches. Roast beef, turkey, pork loin, it all depends.
