I realized I needed to make this my morning routine as opposed to Dunkin or starbucks very quickly after switching jobs to the centerbrook area. Fresh ingredients, real ingredients, that taste amazing. I can smell it cooking in the back as I'm waiting for my food to be made. Most breakfast items + a large coffee are under $9. That's the same, if not cheaper than going to the Dunkin across the street. Plus it's 100% healthier and better tasting. If you're an avo toast lover like I am... You get two big slices, with a fried egg on top, everything seasoning on them all fresh avo, for $10. That's 1.98 cents less than Dunkin. And u don't get eggs at Dunkin. Bun on the Run is definitely a five-star restaurant. Locals know that this place is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely incredible. The lunch and breakfast menu are amazing; there is something for everyone. The portions are large, and the price is low for what you get here. There is so much good stuff on the menu here; I couldn't pick one particular thing, but my favorite is the tomato basil soup! I was in the area and this place was recommended to me when I inquired about availability of a good to get a breakfast sandwich. I called ahead and spoke with Allie. She was very nice, and the sandwich was ready when I arrived. The pricing is reasonable, and the sandwich was nothing short of great. The bun was unique compared to any other I've ever had, but it was really tasty. The bacon wasn't excessive, but the egg was laid in there pretty heavily.
