Taco Bell — Restaurant in Eureka

This place is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS got a LOOOOONG line in the drive thru. Im talking all the way wrapped around darn near to the entrance, at ALL times of the day...i mean, i ges Eureka just LOVES Taco Bell, bcuz theres not A SINGLE other fast food place in the whole TOWN that u can pretty much GUARANTEE its gonna b faster to walk in & get yur food than it EVER wood b to go thru the drive thru. And the drive thru stays open 24hrs; and ITS LIKE THAT EVEN AT 2 AM! Crazy, no? But, i gotta giv them props for their carmel apple empanadas, CUZ THEY ARE BBBBBOOOOOMMMMBBB!! No joke; on the $1 menu, even!!! WAAAAY better than any other fast foods apple pie. Its like a deep fried apple carmel dream in yur mouth...if u aint tried one, u HAVE TO. Only downfall, is they take like 15min to cook, & they can only "drop"(cook) 6 of them at a time, & they arent allowed to give them to u til theyve been sittin for at LEAST 5, usually 10 min, bcuz the insides SOOO HOT from being fresh out the deep fry, that a person cood actually burn themselves & sue, if that policy wasnt enforced. So, the wait sucks, but ITS WORTH IT. My hubby n i figured a way around the wait tho... If u call them 1st, & let them no yur coming to order sum, u dont hav to sit in the parking lot waiting, lol... Much faster pickup, for sure! Update: since having written this review, the tb in my town has discontinued the Carmel apple empanadas, as well as the Mexican pizza, really unfortunate, cuz they lost my business all together. Those two items were the O N L Y reason I ever went...

The food was ok service was not great they forgot our drinks and we had to stand at the counter for way longer then we should have to get the attention of a worker for our drinks the big part for me was the cleanliness of the facility it was filthy and I'm not exaggerating I had to clean the table we ate at I carry hand sanitizer in my purse so I wiped it down with hand sanitizer but to be honest they need to have a employee who's main focus is the dining area and keeping it clean sweep mop wipe down down the tables clean the beverage area empty the trash cans wipe down the self service ordering computers they seem to have a issue with the homeless people loitering inside and outside the facilities when we were there a super loud and just rude lady kept coming in first she was yelling for a water cup then she wanted to use the bathroom she's not waiting in line she is disrupting another customer placing there order and the employee taking the order just being rude I would have told her NO the restroom is for paying customers I'm not quite sure if there just scared of the lady or what the issue is but someone should of handled the situation I understand they are busy but if the situation is not addressed it will just keep declining it would not take long to do a deep clean of the dining area the harder part will be dealing with the homeless people with there signs literally sitting on the property at the end of the drive through in and around...

The wait is always extremely long inside &out. I've waited in drive thru 30+minutes on average. No matter how long the inside line they never open second register. I reported owner to taco corporate. Restaurants more than once. Be All restaurant s in CA are non-smoking by law. Plus no smoking within 30feet in Eureka. Panhandling is illegal in Eureka. Owner said she didn't care plus when "beggers" get money in front of her place they spend it at her taco Bell. She also refused to put up no smoking signs even when I offered to buy them. Food is mediocre not so cheap anymore. The #1 thing Taco Bell here has is location. On highway 101and main road in Eureka.I WISH EUREKA WOULD GET A DEL TACO. THEY WERE GREAT IN VICTORVILLE YEARS AGO. BETTER MENU TOO. Taco Bell will take a hit when IN & OUT BURGER opens and the bring back KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN. Both will be on same high/101. They are in the works & property is purchased. We need good fast good here. Some folks in the city & county think not but they are the people with the major money and don't care about the "99%" here. We can't afford...
