Ant's Farm ChildCare Center — Local services in Eustis

My daughter is almost 3 with Down syndrome. We have been looking for a place for her to learn structure as well as interact with other kids and learn boundaries with other people. We visited several different daycares & preschools and I was uneasy with all of them for various reasons. When we walked into Ant's Farm, it was a totally different vibe. It felt warm and inviting - still a preschool with structure - but respecting various abilities and sensory needs. Patty gave us a tour (multiple tours were offered every day of the week when we called, which was one of the first green flags for me!) and you can see how much thought went into every single detail - security on the doors and gates on the playground, cameras, etc. - you can tell safety is a huge priority.

Patty was warm and friendly as was everyone we met. It felt like genuine warmth versus trying to sell us on the center. When we left, I told my husband how confident I felt sending my daughter here. I hadn't felt that AT ALL with any other places we visited.

Since my daughter has started there (a few weeks ago), we have loved it. The app sends me updates and photos all day to keep me posted on diaper changes, nap, what was served at lunch and whether or not she ate it. They also send us updates of lessons and activities that the kids work on. My favorite is the photos

I am certain that Patty searched extensively for the kindest, overqualified, most understanding staff for this center she could find and rounded them all up for the purpose of making sure that every single child that enters this building feels safe and loved! As a mother of a child on the spectrum, we have been through several preschools that just didn’t work out. This center has made my child feel so safe and I immediately noticed that she now ENJOYS going to school. She now has teachers that continuously work with both her and I to understand and support her individual educational needs. I cannot recommend this center enough for any family that feels like they just haven’t found the right preschool for their littles. I have received updates through the app throughout my child’s day, every day, since day one and it brings me so much relief to know how her day is going. This wonderful staff will make you feel like family and involve you in every aspect of your child’s learning journey. Our child feels truly secure there, and that peace of mind as a parent is invaluable. The staff led by the owner, treats each child with such kindness, creating an atmosphere that’s both welcoming and inclusive.
