Depending on the time of day you go, this Goodwill can be a lot of fun. Don't make the mistake of going right when they open. There's a line of crazy people outside waiting to stampede in through the doors (only three are allowed in at a time). People are so careless and thoughtless while "digging for their treasures." You can be a foot away from them, and they will throw what they've determined to be worthless right at you in the bin you're looking through. The store itself is fantastic, it's just the people that shop that who ruin the experience. And for the love of God, watch out when they bring out new bins; you will get destroyed, as people act like whatever they're bringing out is a once in a lifetime opportunity and there could be millions of dollars hidden inside! So many times, I've just gone to stand and watch the creatures that this store brings out. There is no enforcement regarding leaving children unattended, so also, watch out for them because they run around with no parent in sight. People also will load up HUGE carts full of clothing, only to take it back near the furniture area and then proceed to selfishly pick through it on their own time, all while making sure no one else can touch it. Personally, I think something should be done about the furniture area, as every single day, there are people (mostly men who are dragged there unwillingly) who just sit on the chairs and couches, sometimes eating or playing cards, while the women they're with "shop." I guess you can't control who shops there, but you could do a little better with enforcing the "rules" (there was a paper the cashiers were handing out a few weeks ago). Again, I do enjoy the store, and the employees, from what I've encountered, have been friendly. The only reason I do not like shopping here more is because of the rude and ignorant people that act like...
Read moreSo sad to watch this store going downhill. Just a few years ago it used to be a fun, safe, well managed and well organised place with a large selection of everything from cloths to to household items. Never a problem to get a parking spot or a shopping cart. Not anymore. A bunch of loud, obnoxious, rude and ignorant people act as if they own this place and the whole world. They ram thru the bins scooping everything at sight piling high into the carts. And then start tossing unwanted cloths and shoes back to the bins without even looking who is on the way. Each of them grabs at least two shopping carts using them to block your way to the newly arrived bins. But if you are lucky to get the "front row" spot be prepared to act swift and grip tight otherwise whatever you picked, might be pulled literally out of your hands. Needless to say the assortment of goods offered also deteriorated. Cloths, books and toys still OK but over the 80% of shoes and wares is a pure junk. Mismatched shoes, ripped and gutted purses, broken pieces of an undetermined origin and all this jazz. Maybe someone just weeding all the decent stuff out of the bins before putting them on the floor. I do realize it is an outlet and you get what you paid for. However five, three and even one year ago it was still an outlet and it was an absolutely different story. I won't be returning back even if I find a parking spot and get a...
Read moreI seriously think this place needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau! Or whoever to seriously answer the same issues reported from customers time and time again! I have written reviews and get the same generic response. They have no intent to fix any of the serious concerns customers report. They have rules posted, but that’s just for appearances. They will not enforce any rules and don’t bother telling the employees. Nothing is done , because the violators, you know the ones with 5 carts, spend lots of money! Seriously, how can this place open their doors? They allow merchandise people donate to be broken. Customers get attacked by animal like behavior. Children in bins rummaging through the merchandise, dumping games and puzzles. Parents could care less because they taught their kids how to disrespect people and not follow rules. In ending, I’d like to share the newest joke about the new hours. This store is now open til 9:00PM. I went in at 8:05 and they were taking the bins away. I asked the worker why and he said “I do what I’m told”. You need to ask the supervisor. Well, she was up front watching them roll the bins to the back room. What to...
