The food was so good. The serving is large (under the large platter options, it won't disappoint). The server (Alyson) was great, she was on top of my order and refills without me having to wait around at all. I ordered a side of cheese to go with the fries (highly recommended).
Also ordered a beer.. it was great that they have the beers categorized by the flavor profile. I didn't have to go beer by beer to choose a beer I'd probably like.
I dined outside. Perfect for good weather days. Enough greenery away from the road.
I came alone and enjoyed this location so much! but this can definitely be a good place to visit if you like to be in company as well.
I'll definitely be visiting this location and ordering this food again.
Only downside, it doesn't seem like there is a separation between smokers and no smokers outdoors. Me seating outside is not equivalent to wanting smokers around me. However, the couple smoking behind me only smoked once quite quickly so it didn't really ruin my experience. If more people had been smoking it would for sure ruin my experience and ruin the taste of my meal (smell does affect your taste buds)
Can't say there is a specific age group that frequents this place from my visit. The range was all the way from young people tiktoking to grandmas and grandpas. But the vibe wasn't ruined for either end of the spectrum. Very chill vibe that anyone can enjoy. No kids on sight (which probably made this visit more enjoyable). (There was a one grandma that might've had one too many drinks [but I appreciate her for smoking away from the dining area unlike the couple behind my table].. but it was fun to watch her trying to look as sober as possible).
There was one tv outside at the bar. Would've wished for another one in the dining area as well but.. that's probably only because I came alone. I don't think anyone with company would've noticed or cared about it.
The price? Very much worth the service, quality, timeliness, ambiance, flavor, etc..
And this might be the least important remark from my visit... but the water here was really good. It didn't taste or smell disgusting... (it is important to me though). They don't even ask if you want water. They bring it over when the server comes to your table the first time (and whenever you ask, of course).
Well... in short.. This place, the food, beer and the service is well worth it. I'll be...
Read moreLiberty Tap has great food at a decent price (not super cheap, but not overpriced). I am underaged and can't drink, but my friends and family who've gone there with me always love the drinks they order. However, the food and drinks aren't good enough to cover up the very horrible service my friends and I had (I don't know the waiter's name because they never seem to introduce themselves here)! I went to Liberty with three other people who are of legal age, and the waiter asked for our IDs. I didn't want to explain that I was underaged, so I said I didn't have one with me. Because I didn't have mine, the others at the table couldn't drink (they say it's a state-wide policy that everyone at the table needs to have their ID for someone to order a drink, but I've never been told that anywhere else). I asked if my friends would like to go to the bar to get something and I'd wait there, but they said it was fine. Dinner was good and everything, but at the end of the night, the waiter came back with the paid checks, said goodnight and thanks, then turned to me and said, "And next time, don't forget your ID and ruin the night for everyone else." Very embarrassed that he said that, I told him it wouldn't make a difference if I had it because I'm underaged, and he rolled his eyes and said, "Okay, well you don't need to have an attitude with me about it." We were all very bothered by how rude this waiter was and were tempted to leave him no tip at all. His demeanor was very unprofessional; I understand that the typical patrons of Liberty are of drinking age, but, as a customer, I deserve not to be scolded by the waiter! I've been to Liberty other times and the service wasn't stellar, but I will not be going back any time soon because of...
Read moreI have been here a few times, yes great beer selection but the service is from stellar! I requested an outside seat with my wife. I am not opposed to waiting at all. I am not some pompous dick who thinks waiting is above them. I didn't have a reservation and gave my name to a young African American woman, had a couple beers at the outside bar. I waited for about 45 minutes and noticed several tables vacant for a while. I went back inside and asked if how much longer it would be. Not yet is what I got as a response. That's OK I really am an easy going person. After about an hour plus and many tables outside being vacant my wife and I decided that was enough. I went back inside to basically be a dick about the lousy service and the young lady saw me and said Oh I forgot. Ya know yeah big beer selection and that's great but the service is terrible. Maybe I am the minority but I will never revisit this place. Service is king!-make an effort for Christ sake. I gotta tell you the service will never carry this place. Word of mouth travels faster than a billboard, remember that. I don't want to trash the place cause the bar staff outside was cool and helpful. Pick a better hostess. She has no idea what customer service means. A sleep behind the wheel! The front of the house is kinda important. I like beer but I wouldn't go back because of this experience.
Thanks for the follow up Tony, maybe I was a little harsh. I really want the independent guy to succeed it just bothered me that there was no communication. Get a pager system or something. Being out there in no mans land with no idea of when I would sit kinda sucked. I will come back and will ask for you personally. Thanks again for the...
