I feel like this location really deserves one star, or possibly zero. I gave two for the few times I can actually successfully purchase pizza here, it is usually pretty good. Ordering food from this location is like playing Russian Roulette with five rounds chambered. You might get lucky, but the odds are stacked against you. If you can actually get food out of this place, which I know sounds strange to say considering it is a restaurant, it is usually enjoyable and made the way I ask. However, getting someone to answer the phone is like calling a radio station trying to win concert tickets. It baffles me how the owner of this business (I mean SOMEONE must own this place, right?!) allows their business the "operate" this way. You call, no one answers. There is no automated greeting (which normally would be annoying, but here would be a welcome option), no voicemail, no nothing. It just rings until you drop your phone from fainting due to your hunger. If you go in person, the wait is laughable. Again, the fainting is pretty likely. One time, the phone was answered and I stated I would like to place an order and the girl said, "How long do you want to wait?" (This actually happened - I'm not making it up.) I've decided that this place must be a money laundering front for one of the drug dealers in Reading. There is no other rational explanation for how a business can be allowed to operate in such anarchy yet somehow not be forced to...
Read moreThe service is great and fast when you order pep or cheese because they have it prepared. My issue is the deep deep dish. I really hate standing around for them to cook it ESPECIALLY when I phoned my order in. So far 2 out of 3 times I phoned in my order 20 minutes before arriving there, they seemed to not have even made the pizza as requested. They always ask me what I ordered over the phone as if nothing was written down. They asked for my name over the phone yet never asked for my name when I arrived. I have always had a good experience with little caesars but the employees at the perkiomen branch need some training in customer service. How hard is to to write down orders taken over the phone OR at the very least decide to cook the pizza.
There was even a time I went there in person, ordered a deep deep dish, paid for it, told them i would be back in 15 minutes because that is how long they said it would take to cook. Came back and they asked me what i would like to order. I showed them my receipt and ended up waiting 15 minutes AGAIN because they either cooked it and gave it to someone else or just took my money and...
