Foss motors have the most incompetent and laziest people working in the auto industry The most inconsiderate humans that have no respect for anyone. First off Foss does not stand by their own vehicles. 5 years ago when I bought my vehicle at Foss Motors they said they had a referral program. I was referred by my ex wife she was with me when I bought my vehicle and when I signed paperwork. She never received a check that Foss Motors supposedly gives for referrals. I put 10K down they didn’t offer any incentives or deals They will probably never tell you about the faulty Pentastar engine. Camshaft issues when the metal wears down then damages the rockers and lifters causing misfiring of the engine. Costly repair. It’s happened to hundreds of Jeep Wranglers across the country. Your engine light will come on. You can go to a local garage or store that will do a diagnostic test for you for free, but FCA have the codes blocked so you will have to go to the dealership for a diagnostic test. That’s $175. They just plug your car into a computer 2 seconds of labor. They had a few clutch recalls. After 3 clutch recalls. They still have clutch issues. They can’t get it right. I dropped my vehicle off for the recall after arranging transportation, because Foss didn’t have a courtesy car. When I arrived to pick my vehicle up the service department told me they didn’t do the recall because they didn’t have the whole clutch kit. So I had to reschedule. Second time around they had a car for me. When I came to pick my vehicle up this second time the service person told me my vehicle would be ready at closing time. Thats 2 hours away. So I drove off ,and 5 minutes later a different service person called me to tell me my vehicle was ready. The first person just couldn’t get off the stool to check how much longer my vehicle would be. Foss Motors will most likely not tell anyone about the corrosion issues. Paint bubbling peeling can chipping around door hinges and door frames around the windshield. When I noticed the bubbling of paint on my vehicle I called to set up an appointment. I called this past September. They told me just show up. A week later I showed up. Now they told me I had to make an appointment. They made my appointment for some time in October. I got a phone call from Foss Motors saying I wouldn’t be covered for the corrosion warranty. That’s because they pushed me off and delayed my appointment purposely so I would be beyond the warranty. Foss couldn’t handle the paperwork! Too much work for them to handle. After the run around and being put off. I contacted a dealership that will take care of the corrosion on my vehicle for me. I had to travel 75 miles away to get the corrosion problem resolved. They tell me all the Chrysler Jeep dealerships get paid to fix this problem. They tell me Foss is just too lazy to handle the paperwork! Foss Motors is a great place to buy a car quick and easy. You don’t even need to ask for a sales person just ask for keys drive around the building. The person that puts the paperwork together might tell you, you need special insurance and all this special sprays and irrelevant stuff. Sign some paperwork and you’re off with a car with issues. Nobody knows anything about the cars they’re selling. Remember at Foss motors it’s really not about you!

I had the BEST experience at Foss Motors. Fred Clark is amazing, knowledgeable, and a miracle worker! Foss Motors is One of the ONLY out of state dealerships that Massachusetts allows to issue a Temporary plate. My husband and I were searching for a used low milage 2023 Ford Expedition Stealth Edition. Foss Motors had the exact vehicle we were looking for. Living 2.5 hours away with kids, we weren't persuaded on purchase our vehicle from them. We took the risk, and it was one of the best decisions! I entered my information onto the website and instantly received a phone call from Fred. He was very kind over the phone as I expressed my interest in the vehicle. I told him “Let’s cut to the chase” if we can agree on a price, we would drive up to purchase the vehicle and drive it home the same day. It took Fred about 8 days before we were able to agree on the price. Within the 8 days he sent me pictures and more information on the vehicle. On day 8, he texted me "I GOT YOU YOUR PRICE" and called me instantly and asked if I received his text yet. He was just as excited as I was, the positivity really did it! Fast forward to arriving to the dealership to test driving it, everyone in the establishment was so kind! The lady at the door to check us in was extremely nice and let us know that Fred was with a customer. When the next customer came in after us, she offered us another salesman before the next in line, we politely declined to wait for Fred. Everyone that walked by us acknowledged us which we really appreciated. Matt Saia unlocked the doors for us to look at the vehicle as we continued to wait for Fred. Also, very nice salesman. When looking at the vehicle, there was a minor manufacturer issue with the headlight. Fred looked at it, Todd Jones (Sales Manager) looked at it, and Tim Foss (Vice President/General Manager) came outside to look at it to confirm it was not going to be an issue. Promised us that if there is ever an issue with it to let them know and they will have it fixed. In the finance office, Steve Baker (Business Manager) was great and knowledgeable. He explained all the warranties to us and was very honest with what was necessary. He helped us get a great deal with our warranty and interest rate! The customer service is remarkable!! Needless to say, we purchased the vehicle and drove it home the same day! We recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle with great customer service! Thank You Foss Motors!!

Where do I begin… Prior to Foss Motors I had contacted/visited 10-12 other dealerships. Unfortunately, Foss Motors was one of the last stops I had made…so, if you are in search of a vehicle PLEASE save yourself some trouble/time and make Foss Motors the first and only place you go! All over the website, Foss Motors highlights that it is a family owned business and let me tell you…it shows! Their customer service from day one was absolutely amazing. I personally worked with Scott and throughout the entire process he was extremely communicative, honest, and clear! I was a first time buyer and he patiently explained every single question I had, which I really appreciated! Furthermore, on my pick up day Scott seemed just as excited as I was, which made the experience all that much better! When the day finally came to pick up my Jeep Wrangler, I ventured up to New Hampshire from Massachusetts (around an hour drive and yes it was worth it…so my Massachusetts friends…you should all venture up as well!). When I walked into the building I was greeted with lots of smiles. It felt like such a warm and welcoming environment (something I hadn’t felt in all of the other dealerships). The staff members were all joking around with each other and they all seemed to be having a great time (again, you can tell it’s family owned and family oriented). When it came to finances I had worked with Steve! This process can be confusing, (especially as a first time buyer) but Steve made the whole financing process quick and painless! On another side note: if you are looking into a dealership to order a vehicle from the factory (as I did) GO HERE. They stand by their statement of “#1 Volume Dealership in New Hampshire” for a reason. My Jeep personally came WELL within the time frame that Scott quoted (4-8 weeks, specifically around the 5-6 week window). Some dealerships were quoting the delivery into next year (3-4 months)… I will be posting this same review to other platforms because I can’t say enough (to enough people) how much I highly recommend this dealership. Thank you Scott, Steve and the staff at Foss Motors!

This is an unsolicited comment about Foss motors Exeter, New Hampshire. Upon finding a recall on my 2021 Jeep Rubicon Gladiator that I had to find out about myself. I was not notified by Foss Motors. I made arrangements after notifying them to have recall fixed. When the date was near I called Foss to verify that I would have a rental car. Upon the time of verification is when I was notified that my appointment date was pushed out months and I wasnt told. Had I not called. I would’ve made an hour trip one way for nothing. When the Jeep finally was brought in on the appointment date I was told it would be ready in two weeks. When the two week time was up, I called to verify I could come pick up the jeep. It was then that I was notified the Jeep wasn’t ready. No call once again, they said the beginning of the next week. I waited till the following week on Wednesday called again and was told it should be ready today. No communication once again. When I went to pick up the Jeep the work that had been done, which was a paint recall, had runs on almost every spot that they fixed. I had to sit and wait 3 .5 hours while they fixed it. At that time I also had them do a state inspection and a alignment. On the ride home, I noticed the car was still pulling to the right. Upon getting out of the Jeep when I was walking around the back of it I noticed there was a dent in the back of my Jeep that was not there when I drop the Jeep off, I decided at that point to go through the rest of the vehicle and found in my passenger side seat, a large amount of melted chocolate inside the seat on the floor and in the center console . That also was also not there when I dropped the vehicle off. I naturally called and complained. I was told I’d get a call back. I received one call from Tim Foss. I missed it . I called right back and he wasnt available. I left 2 messages after that and still nothing. That was a month ago today. I also filled out a customer survey email that rated my experience. The email asked if I wanted a call back and I never got one, that led to another customer email survey, which I filled out also asking if I wanted a call back and I never got one. Not to get into more specifics, but when I first purchased the Jeep, there was several issues that had to be addressed as well . Making it so I had to go back-and-forth to get them resolved because somebody wasn’t doing their job right to begin with. This is the fifth vehicle that my family has purchased over the years from Foss motors and will definitely be the last. Service has clearly gone down hill? So if anybody has any plans to purchase from them, I just wanted to let you know my experience was less than stellar. “At Foss Motors it’s all about you” that’s there motto...
