It's a great store. Produce is always fresh. Flowers and plants are always amazing and fresh! If you have their app you can save a lot of money with coupons and at the end of each quarter they pay out what you earned in rewards for buying their products. The coupons are great! A lot of the time you get free items to try them and some coupons are tailored to you and what you buy anf I always see lots of vendors coupons for household items like detergent and other laundry items, tissues, paper goods, febreeze or other like items ect.. and then a lot of personal care items like deodorant, lotions, shampoos & conditioners, lady products(tampons. Pads, ect), and a lot of food coupons and on good brands too not just their brands!! You just check every day for new coupons to clip and then they will be there for when you enter your phone number at checkout and they will automatically apply. Its great! Plus you get the deals other customers wouldn't by being a rewards member. Overall prices are up and down. They have good deals but some things can be more expensive than other places and some things are cheaper. Depends on the day. Hope this helps someone. 😊 Hannaford is my go to grocery store! The only con is that they can be out of a lot of popular items a lot...
Read moreThis is just the most poorly managed grocery store I've ever experienced and I have reached out more than once to explain my disappointment. The employees are great but management is very poor. Consistently every single time I go there (no matter what time of day), I wait in line as there is only one register open. Then when I get to the cashier, no one is there to bag the groceries so the process takes double the time. In addition no one has taught these people how to bag groceries so often times my meat or bread is underneath something big and heavy and becomes punctured. I roll my eyes every time I go there because the incompetence of the front house management is so obvious. Also, they always ask me if I found everything I was looking for. Every single time I say no I did not. Then I proceed to explain what I didn't find and sometimes even fill out a form describing what I was looking for. They never get the items I asked for. Needless to say, I'm done with Hannaford and they will lose $250 per week due to their poor management. The only thing they have going for them is an on the ball meat department. Bye Bye Hannaford,...
Read moreCelebrating a birthday with a brunch for family and friends, we ordered two sandwich trays from Hannaford Super Market, one w mini-croissants filled with chicken salad, tuna fish, egg salad and ham salad. The other, roll-up wraps, cut in half, filled with roast beef, ham and cheese, a Caprise w mozzarella, tomato and lettuce and a buffalo chicken. Each has a container of assorted olives in the center and a thank you note by the person who assembled the tray. The winner for me and my guests were the mini croissants. The wraps were too much to handle. Perhaps for a football game but not a brunch. $54.99 and $59.99 plus 8.50% meals tax. Be sure and hand carry them out of the store, they put the boxes at an angle on top of the shopping cart, causing the sandwiches to shift, some of the filling falling out. Next time, I’d buy their mini croissants and hand fill them myself...
