My Mom had her 100th Birthday on February 28, 2025 and was shocked by the few calls she received as we were traveling to the ESVA. I tried to downplay it and told her it probably was poor cell service in that area. She reluctantly accepted that as the cause. Then she discovered early the next morning (3/1) that she couldn't make outgoing calls. Since we were staying in the hotel across the street from Verizon Wireless we went in for immediate service. We were advised it would take 3 or more hours to resolve because she may need to replace the phone. We told the Verizon employee we were not expecting to take that long but could return Sunday (3/2) when they open. Unfortunately, that meant my Mom spent her birthday and most of the weekend without making and/or receiving calls. We returned Sunday morning when they opened. Sarah was on duty. I explained the issue to her. She took the phone, assessed the situation, and RESOLVED the issue within 20 minutes!! They had 2 more people outside waiting. So called the store just to see if they even had the case in stock. They told me they didn’t know. I asked if they could just go look real quick.
