My girlfriend purchased a Schneider Cuckoo Clock at a higher price from this store because of their supposed good customer service reputation. It was a future gift for me. Due to taking going out of state to care for my elderly parents ,who both passed away, and the whole Covid shutdowns and crisis, I finally returned home and unpacked the Cuckoo clock and found it didn't operate even though it was new out of the box. I called the store to see if they could fix the problem, was told they would do nothing to help because factory warrantee had expired, which shocked me, so much for customer service. The Amana Colonies are a collection of 7 Amana settlements in Central Iowa of German descent, and they are not Amish. The Amana Furniture Shop sells high quality furniture, and visitors are allowed to observe the furniture craftsmen doing their furniture making trade. It was super fun to browse through this furniture shop and to see and touch the high quality furniture.
