Bring your pet here, short and simple- this place has the best prices, extremely friendly and I do think Dr Chun has nothing but the best intentions for any of the animals that walk into the store. Do not be turned off from this Vet due to its location in a shopping center and not a stand alone building like many in the area and do not be put off by the different approaches Dr Chun lists on his website. Dr. Chun and his staff will provide you the costs of any procedures or medications you may need as long as you ask before hand and trust me, they're cheaper than anyone else in the area. I had my dogs teeth cleaned, a general wellness exam, ear wax/hair removal, sanitary shaving and three teeth pulled for $600.00 which included the anesthesia too. The earwax and sanitary shaving were offered by Dr Chun upon arrival since its easier to do when the dog is asleep. I thought my dog would need 6 teeth remove, Dr Chun thought maybe 4-5 but when it was all done he said he only removed three because the other 3 weren't as bad as originally thought. Last week my dog had a swollen infected paw, I didn't have an appointment but Dr Chun and his staff allowed me to drop off my dog so they could look at it between their previously scheduled appointments to accommodate her. They ended up having me out in 20 minutes, and again Dr Chun wanted to try medication for 2 weeks instead of xrays, surgery and burning money. One day I realized that my cat, Kitty, (yes I know I'm a fountain of originallity) started growing weird red rashes on his ears and neck. I let it go for a week thinking he just scratched himself too much but it got worse.

I took him to Dr. Chun for a diagnostic and I was also worried about that becuase I have had bad experiences finding a good vet for a cat, believe it or not, most vets are better with dogs. However, Dr. Chun was excellent, he was able to take my cat and not provoke him (Kitty gets a bit violent when scared), in fact kitty was completely calm with him.

The Doctor did the routine stuff first, checked his ears back and forth and checked his mouth and eyes. Then he gave me some possibilities of what this was, took hair samples for testing to be sure, and recommended some meds for Kitty. He told me to come back in a week and we would do another check up.

I administered the meds and almost in 2 days the results were apparent, my cat's ears were looking much better and he wasn't scratching as often as he used to. When we came back a week later Dr. Chun had confirmed that his suspiciouns were right and that the cat would be better with 2 more weeks of the medicine.

2 weeks later and he is definitely much better. What I really loved about this whole story though is that the Doctor knew excatly what it was before even testing his hair samples, allowing us to start the healing process a week earlier.

Dr.Chun is the best vet that we have been with. He is honest and never makes your pet do extra testing or treatments unless he believes it is absolutely necessary which saves the customer a lot of money. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things and make himself available when you call if there are any questions or concern. In addition, every time I called with a concern about my dogs' behaviors or symptoms they somehow manage to fit me in that same day. We have had 7 dogs as his patient over years. His prices are VERY reasonable compared to other vets. I moved farther away and there are many vets near me but I still travel to see Dr.Chun. if he ever retired I don't know what I would do! He is very compassionate and has been with our dogs since they were puppies. Seriously the best vet doctor ever! In addition, his staff is super friendly and it is vivid that everyone who works here are animal lovers. The facility is very clean compared to other vets we have been to.
