Im not usually one to write reviews but I had such a poor experience at this location. I always go to Beng Gong's but not usually the one in fairfax. Firstly, I wasn't happy with the way my drink was made, it was very bitter and sour even though I got extra mango. I wasn't enjoying it at all so I called to communicate that to them. While I was in the middle of explaining, the employee cut me off and put me on the phone with the manager. I was explaining what was wrong and she was just getting very defensive and started accusing us of trying to "steal" from them. When we were at the store, I had to tap my card a couple of times because it wasn't going through and we kept asking the people behind the counter, "did it go through" multiple times. Finally after using a different payment method, it processed soo how is that stealing? Just because my card was expired, it's not like I don't have the money...for her to accuse customers of stealing when first of all, isn't even possible because you have to hand me the drink yourself so how is that even possible? And second of all is just SO rude and offensive. She just kept going back and forth with me over the phone for no reason trying to defend herself when no one was even blaming her. I was just telling her about my drink and as a customer, she did not respond well at all. Her reaction really upset me and I wont be returning. Learn how to speak with...
Read moreI really like some of their drinks so I come by often. However, today's occasion really makes me feel disrespected and uncomfortable. I go to this tea shop VERY OFTEN and spent a lot of money on their drinks. Recently, they had this student discount offer and as a part time online student, I would like to utilize my student status to get a 10% discount. I guess I used it too many times (sorry for being a regular!), so the owner/manager today questioned me as if I faked up the ID to be a active student. My student ID don't have an expiration date, and she questioned if I had already graduated and still took advantage of this system. I explained to her I am a active student (just started this fall semester) and this is a part time program. She said there is no way to prove I am a student. My bf jokingly stated do you want us to show you her homework?
I stop by this tea shop at least 30 times as of this year and on average, we spent $12-14 per visit. That is $300 at the least we spent at this shop, I don't know why I would FAKE up a student ID to just get a small discount. This discount definitely is not worth the disrespect. I am not a liar and I don't need to prove it. I will stop supporting...
Read moreI am not that type of guy who always leaves “reviews” on Google map but honestly this is probably the best milk tea I have had in the area for a long time. I have visited here many times and tried many different drinks. Among them, my favorites are Dahongpao boba milk tea, osmanthus rice milk tea and strawberry cheese smoothie. Their boba is chewy and tasty and it is obvious that the drink is made with fresh tea, rather than milk tea powder mixed with water (if you've ever had insufficiently melted powder from a drink at other milk tea shops you know what I'm talking about). All in all, if you willing to try what an authentic Chinese milk tea tastes like, I recommend you to try this shop and you should not be...
