We stopped into the Wayne store this past summer to finally replace a very old and very worn loveseat. While this was our first time purchasing at White House, we had previously experienced wonderful personal service when we were looking for another piece at their Fairfield location, even though we didn't purchase from them at that time.
So we had high hopes walking into the showroom, and we were not disappointed. I had an idea of a brand we wanted to investigate, and we soon met with a wonderful, attentive salesperson who was knowledgeable about the brand and took lots of time to spend in one of their display rooms, just the three of us, going through dozens of fabric swatches together. It was relaxed and fun! Because of pandemic-related delays, we were "warned" that delivery of the piece we ordered wouldn't be till January.
To our surprise, we got a call about a month ahead of time that the loveseat had arrived. Since we live in a unique setting, we had some delivery requests that were above and beyond their usual procedures. Instead of charging us extra delivery fees (which we likely would have paid), all they asked was that we leave a nice review on Google under this store listing. We said we would be happy to, as we knew we could be honest about how terrific it had been shopping with them. Of course I waited until after delivery, though.

Read moreI have had the pleasure of working with Margie and Megan at White House Design Resource for over 5 years now. They are the most helpful, kind, and informative people. As someone who works alone, they are always willing to offer me a second opinion when asked or chime in when I just need a little validation. They are in constant communication with all of the manufacturers that I use and it is such a help. Knowing that they are there supporting me during the ordering and tracking phases of design is very reassuring. I am confident that there will be few, if any bumps along the way because of them and if there is one, they are on top of handling it.
The receiving, scheduling and delivery teams are absolutely amazing as well. They are efficient and professional. They are punctual and friendly and my clients value them as much as I do.
I love working at the design center because it has everything I need at my fingertips. I don't need to clutter my office uneccesarily with samples I might not need, etc. Being able to see and sit on so many furniture pieces while sourcing for my clients is also a huge help!

I cold-called them one Sunday in a fit of desperation after several failed design attempts on oddly shaped living and family rooms in our new home (one long and narrow and the other a hexagon) . Mark from White House picked up, asked a few questions and connected me with Gayle, even though it was a Sunday. Now, three months later, in the middle of a pandemic, our home has been transformed.
