ALDI — Local services in Fairview Park

Aldi update: In response to questions (and posts) that I and others had about the Aldi on West 117th, I decided to contact corporate to get some answers. First of all, their responsiveness was amazing. From an email that I sent to a bot I found online, I got a phone call within 24 hours from a representative at Aldi corporate headquarters in Illinois, who took more information. Then I was contacted by the district manager's office the same day. Unbelievable customer service. The DM rep. explained there are security cameras installed all around the West 117th St. store. They have not yet put up signage to announce the cameras but rest assured they are operational. She also stated that there will always be a security person on site whenever the store is open. Finally, they are taking the suggestion of installing a bike rack to their remodel team to see if it is feasible. I'm impressed with Aldi's prompt response to our concerns and questions. Aldi is a great grocery store. This location in particular is always clean and stocked well. The store is clearly taken care of. The staff are also quick to open another line if a line becomes long, helping everyone in a friendly and timely manner. This is my go to location. I am impressed in the amount of organic/natural products Aldi has received recently. The only thing I would like different is to maintain a larger selection of vegetarian meats. There were some meatless chicken nuggets/etc for a short period and I would love to see them stay on! Otherwise, I love Aldi! Google asked my opinion of my local Aldi! Well, I love my Aldi! It's usually our go to place for the family staples. Milk, eggs, cereal, bathroom tissue are always cheaper than most other supermarkets. Also there's new stuff coming in all the time that is intriguing and exciting to try! The only draw back is sometimes those items which suddenly appear also suddenly disappear!! So you like it and can save it, do it! Don't forget to bring a quarter for your cart and your shopping bags! 😃
