Do not hire Carpet Kingdom for any wood flooring installations. My contractor hired them as the flooring specialist in my project and I was extremely disappointed in the craftsmanship and quality of product provided.
To start - I had selected a flooring material that Carpet Kingdom did not work with. They shared that it was not a manufacturer they work with, so they would not guarantee the quality of the product and recommended I selected another option. They showed up to my condo 30 minutes late and interrupted a conference call, and I had to make a decision on a new material quickly. I selected the best option they had, in my opinion, a beautiful sample (including a photo). The boards that arrived and that they chose to install were awful and not reflective of the sample I had approved. One board in particular was installed in a prominent place (entryway, kitchen/hallway) and the board looked damaged. My contractor agreed - he said it looked like someone was on crack, chain smoking cigarettes, and putting them out on this board; and he had no explanation for why they would choose to install this piece (we had plenty of excess boards that were beautiful).
I am attaching photos that also show some boards were installed too high (and not flush with the boards next to them), some boards were cut too narrow and showing a large gap next to the granite bathroom saddle. Multiple boards had deep scratches in them before I was able to move anything back in the apartment (this could have been the painter that my contractor hired but shows how easily damaged this flooring material was).
The worst issue however was that the floor "bounced" in multiple places in this apartment.
They also left a significant amount of trash and debris in my apartment and I had to pay my moving company out of pocket to remove this (this may have been my contractor's fault) but was still an inconvenience.
When the manager from Carpet Kingdom came to my apartment with my contractor to view the damaged areas, he recommended injecting glue into the areas that had a bounce, and agreed to make the necessary board repairs.
So we moved forward with ordering new board material, having it delivered, acclimating to the apartment. After the next few weeks when the repair was scheduled to take place, my contractor informed me that I should "stop unpacking" and that the floor was "not repairable" and requested that I go select another floor material -- from a new vendor.
I had to take off an additional day of work to go pick out a new flooring material and then wait an additional three weeks for the new material to be delivered and installed. The new company completed the second installation and it was a much higher quality.

Read moreMy family and I have bought all our lives rugs for our house from here! They have so many selections to choose from whether you want a modern/contemporary style to a more ornate and Persian rug. So much varieties could make it harder to choose what you would like for your home however, the owner of the establishment is always friendly and he’s a professional when it comes to assisting his customers. He’s a lovely guy and we are always pleased when we go there to make a purchase. He has little merch that he likes to give out which is a kind gesture and super helpful cause the merch includes the contact info and address. Overall, really love this place and if you’re looking for a variety of selections for a great price, this...

Well done NBNJ Carpet...
