I am now going to review the worst non-drive-thru food of the year.Ā  (That's bad cause we're almost in November) Wow! Overpriced waste of ā²ļø ⛽ & šŸ’°. Today was my 1st time visiting. Before I decided to stay, I looked around, selection seemed meager but I was hungry. I asked to be seated and the waitress guided me to the front to pay 1st. Let me stop here to say what was good about the experience because there's not much to say. They have cute KISSING FISH in theĀ  front foyer. (Someone posted videos of them, cute) Waitress FANTASTIC! Bathroom clean. šŸ‘Creamed Spinich with cheese melted on top was Great,Ā  I got a scoop 3 times! Very thick. šŸ‘Onion Rings. Crispy, Great for the frozen minced onion kind. šŸ‘Stuffed muscles. Very Good balanced flavor. Breading had a nice crunch. šŸ‘Crab Casserole Good. Very soft,Ā  not dence, almost fluffy. šŸ‘LoMein. Good. Overcooked, dry and some pieces crunchy. I like that. šŸ‘Sweet Plantains. Good šŸ‘Corn 🌽  Acceptable šŸ‘šŸ¤ 🦐 with linguine Alfredo was acceptable but the shrimp was overcooked and a bit hard. šŸ‘White Rice Acceptable. It was 1:30 PM on a Friday afternoon and there was only one person dining that I could see in there before me. I should have took that as a hint. TheĀ  Hibachi grill wasĀ  closed. I start eating,Ā  and everything seemed to taste the same, flavorless.Ā  I finally figured out, and confirmed with an employee that I was eating Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) in the Chinese menu options.Ā  I like that stuff in my Doritos and my Cheetos but not in my Chinese food. (Note to self, b4 trying a new buffet, call ahead to see if they use MSG) šŸ‘ŽChicken Wing. I had to spit it out. It tasted like it was previously frozen, dry & overcooked. šŸ‘ŽThe tomato sauce used in the eggplant rollatini, chicken parm and meatball was terrible. It reminded me of the sause in CHEF BOYARDEE. šŸ‘ŽMeatball Inedible. šŸ‘ŽI was very disappointed in the Sesame Chicken/Gen Tso's besides having no flavor, and even though it was swimming in liquid, the chicken was so dry I had to spit it out. šŸ‘ŽSeaweed Salad.Ā  I have never had sweet Seaweed Salad, it bewildered me,Ā  I was afraid to eat another bite. ā“I didn't even try the Sushi, there was 3, maybe 4 different rolls displayed. šŸ‘ŽFried Rice šŸ‘ŽSalt & Pepper Chicken I found myself so unthrilled I caught myself shaking my head and even saying "NO" out loud, talking to myself after each tasteless and bad item. Lunch was $13.99 and with tax and drink was over $17. Way too high of a cost for the quality of food served. I would go back again only if your paying! I have no clue how this place got so many 5ā˜† reviews.Ā  Maybe the head chef is on vacation and the owners nephew with no food experience was covering his shift? On my way home I got a text back from a friend that lives in the area. "I told you to avoid that place. That's the worst buffet ever. I've been sick there like 3 times. It's what made me start looking for alternatives even on my bicycle" Now I know why they had me pay first, cause I was tempted to stop eating half way through and ask for a refund. The good news is I did not even get an upset stomach. They should sell t-shirts that say "I survived the La Grande Experience" Lastly, after my meal I was snapping pics of the building and I noticed our countries flag on top of the building all torn and tattered. Not cool.

My tour bus stopped here for dinner on the way back from Manhattan. Seemed kind of small from the outside but roomy enough inside with plenty of seating because of how smartly they arranged the food stations. Efficient service too. And a really great Christmas tree at the entrance. Interesting variety of foods spanning different cultures and their cuisines. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety and the freshness of the food. Some of the items they had were cod with lemon, lobster in a seafood mix, snow crab legs, clams, seafood rice, shrimp fettuccini, roast beef, roast chicken, grape leaves, articokes, touboli, and, my favourite there, rice pudding with a dynamite dessert twist. They really hit that out of the park. I'll gladly be back if I get the chance.

Where to start. Went here with a friend on Sunday and it was $26 per person. Seemed expensive so I was expecting decent food. I started with the mussels and calamari, but this is the biggest mistake I made that night. NEVER eat seafood from a buffet like this. Within 45 minutes of me being there, the food went right through me, and I was forced to use their disgusting bathroom (which had no toilet paper of course). My friend got them to bring me toilet paper, but this isn't something we should remind them to do. After I got home, I went to the bathroom at least a dozen times (no I'm not overexaggerating here). It took 4 Pepto and 3 antidiarrheal pills to stop going to the bathroom. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day was ruined. Stay away.

I don’t recommend this place at all, I drove one hour and half and I was there by 2:49 pm. The manager and the cashier tried to trick us by charging me $77.65 for 3 adults and one kid, when I asked them why I have been over-charged they stated we don’t have lunch anymore and we currently have dinner when from 11:00am to 3:00 pm it is lunch time. Their response was rude and they said ā€œtake it or leave itā€. When I told them that this is a consumer fraud action and I will report it to the consumer affairs department they got nervous and said that they can charge lunch price, but we can’t eat most of the food in the buffet. Well, if I paid and they have no lunch anymore then what would we eat.. some salad and fries? The main issue is that they conflicted their web advertising and front wall signs. I was really disappointed at first, for trying to cheat us with the price and secondly for bad behavior and attitude (Being rude and unprofessional not respectful at all). Then, we left the place for poor customer service and management. And I did research on them and they have a halal sign from N.J.S.A. general attorney department claiming to the public that they cook halal food which is not true at all, halal mean to them just they are not cooking pork only in the food. However, there is no zabiha involved at all. Beef lamb and chicken not halal the same any other American restaurant. Compare this buffet with any other buffet near this location ( road 19 by Walmart north Bergen and road 17 and Wayne road 23 ) and the results are staggering. The same variety of food can be found at a lower price at other places. My simple evaluation is that if they are cheating their prices and lying that their own food is halal, how I can trust their cooking and...

If I could give this place 0 stars I wouls. My family and I found two hairs in our food. We found out the woman sitting next to us found a hair in her food too. When we approached the staff about it, they made us wait 15 minutes and then sent the manager to us brushing it off saying that it probably was a customers hair. We spent $75 dollars on our dinner and they didn’t want to refund us anything initially. Then the manager wanted to check to see what time we came to see what percentage she should take off and asked us or the receipt but the waitress cleaned the table and discarded the receipt. They then made us wait another 10 minutes and we’re giving us a hard time about the whole thing. We lost our patience and demanded for a refund . They agreed to us only 50 percent as they attempted to locate the receipt. I was voicing my disappointment when the Chinease lady who apparently is the manager then told me to shut up. A huge scene was cause with the owner almost resulting in punching my husband in the face and screaming in my face wanting to also become physical with me too (I’m a woman by the way). I don’t recommend you step foot in this disgusting place with disrespectful and inconsiderate workers. Unless of course you like hair...
