Always seen the shop on my way home, from outside seems like a great atmosphere with nice modern chairs. I had an issue with the service. I went in for a simple fade and shape up on the side of my beard. The gentleman that attended me kept walking away to consort with his employees in the middle of my trim. At one point I got nicked in the neck by his blade not a big deal it could happen to anyone. My dissapointment was the lack of attention to what I asked and even showed a picture for reference. Ended up getting my mustache trimmed down and shaped up in a way I didn't want, not to mention never asked for or was part of the picture he only looked at a quick glance. Normally I'm very easy going and things like this don't really bother me.

WHAT DOES BOTHER ME IS GETTING CHARGED $65 FOR SIDEBURN FADES AND A CLEAN SHAPEUP ON THE BEARD I NORMALLY GET CHARGED $30 AT ANY WALKIN BARBERSHOP IN THE FAIRVIEW AREA.

If he had made it clear that was his price I wouldn't think twice and walked to the other shops up the street that offered the service for half his price.

For $30 more than his price, I could have gotten "The Ultimate Shave in 5th Ave." - Hot towel, facial massage and properly shaved and attended for the cost of a 5 start service they charge... on 5th Ave!!!

To say that I’m impressed is an understatement. I made the call yesterday and made it clear that my son ( 12 ) had never gotten a haircut at an actual male barbershop. Not only did Dre open a dialogue to make sure I got what I wanted but that I felt comfortable in taking my son to him. He asked me to send him pictures of what I wanted so he could get an idea on how to properly deal with my sons hair type and length so that we would be happy with the results. He took the time on his day off to do this and made the appointment for the next day. A day later my sons hair is cut and we’re ecstatic with the results. I originally tried this place because I had enough of my previous barber (my last scheduled appointment was at 11am and they made me wait until 2pm).

I'm a little unwilling to try a new place since I get so used to haircuts from an already familiar barber, but let me just say that this was a great change.

I called in and made an appointment with Dre, he took me at my designated time.
