I have been here many time, the staff is nice, they do what they are supposed to do and thatâs it, donât expect the âabove and beyondâ treatment. Today, today, I had a pleasure of dealing with the store manager. Itâs incredible how I know their return policy, granted Iâve worked at a Walgreens, CVS, and other retail stores to understand the general policy but yes itâs the policy changes to be customized for each store. I went in to return 2 items under the same receipt made with the same payment type. I asked the cashier to give me Store credit swing my banking information which was used is not longer active. She was having an issue completing the return so she does both returns individually. She give me cash for one item and put the other item on the card I paid with. (Note: I didnât not present that card since I no longer have it)
After speaking to a store lead, she had me speak with a manager, I explained to him the situation and he saids âwe can not give you store credit, payments on return items are done in the method of the original paymentâ Ok, I then make him aware that I understood but I asked for store credit, he again repeats âwe can not give you store credit, payments on return items are done in the method of the original paymentâ ..............thatâs when it hit me, I returned two items and for each item I received two different methods of payment in which he continued to claim they âwere not able to doâ.
After some back and forth with me trying to make him understand he was contradicting his own words, I asked him to listen to me carefully and to pay attention to my words, I then repeated âI returned two items on the same receipt paid with the same card, all one transaction, one returned item was given to me in cash, the other returned item was put back on the card and thatâs when he understood how stupid he sounded, forget the money, it was 14$ being returned, itâs the fact that he stood there lied to my face and assured me the store policy went against what I was asking for (store credit). Itâs the fact that he had the nerve to say that where-ever I go to return any item, itâs the same policy everywhere, WRONG! Funny thing as I walked out his employee saids to me âhe is an idiot, he got caught in his own lieâ. Yes!...
Read moreI had a horrible experience in the store the cashier told me to put in my Walgreens card for the customer in front of me I told them no because it was going to take my rewards they said no it wouldn't not only did that lady take my rewards then when I went to go pay for my things the Spanish cashier with the blonde hair had the nerve to tell me that I didn't know what I was doing I told her what the guy cashier just did they both ignored me the manager didn't know what she was doing an chose to walk away. I just think it's ridiculous because I've been in retail management for over 35 years and never in my life would hire somebody who doesn't know how to do their jobs that's why I rather order because they don't even know what they're doing it's ridiculous and to tell a customer that they don't know what they're doing are you kidding me I shop at Walgreens at least three times a week the North Bergen store is the worst store ever I'm just going to stick to the store on Anderson avenue and the one in Edgewater where they have their...
Read moreThey SMILE and say hello. They stop what they're doing to help you. They don't just point in the direction and say aisle #whatever. They take you to what you're looking for and help you find it. They helped me with the photo machine and walked me through the steps because I get really confused with computer stuff. The shelves are very tidy and organized.
One Christmas I had the Grandchildren over for dinner and gift giving. My Niece showed up with her friend with 6 kids. I panicked because I did have enough food, but no gifts for the additional 6 kids. I found Walgreens open and Christmas was saved. Gifts for all! If I live to be 110, I'll never forget Walgreens and that very special Christmas. đ I LOOOVE WALGREENS BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE!
THANK YOU WALGREENS.
Congratulations to the people who train...
