Ok, where do I start. This place comes across as a friendly well manner place but Mannnnn the waitress/service is horrific. They surely need training. In the past I've refrain from giving it a review only b/c I've just kept giving it another chance. But today was the icing on the cake. In the past I've ordered for delivery & visited the restaurant numerous times & they just can't get it right not once. Every time we've ordered for delivery something is always missing. Time & time again, any special simple request is never executed. Such as, To please send us extra of their hot sauce & there U go again honey they did not send. Mind U we speak perfect Spanish. Another thing that I don't understand, when in the restaurant why do they insist in bringing out the food in portions. Even when U request to please serve all the food at the same time. For example, They bring out the food based on which is ready 1st. So, if U wait for everyone to get their food the food gets cold. And I find it so Rude to not be able to eat together with the people I'm with. Therefore, the one that is waiting for his/her plate to come out has to sit & watch everyone else eat. Guys get heat lamps!!! They are meant to keep the food warm in the kitchen until everyone's food is ready to execute. But!today was the icing, 1st our hot chocolate & Pan de Bono when serve was left in the middle of the table. She could've asked for whom is what? Then, again my wife's dish was brought out first & I had to wait approximately 7 minutes for mine, my wife kept eating very slow waiting for mine to be served. Finally, when my food is brought over, the plate was thrown & left abandoned on the corner of the table. You would think she placed it in front of me where I was sitting on the other side of the table. So, I left the food where she left it & decided that I no longer wanted the food. 5 mins later the server comes over to see the plate hasn't been touched & asked if everything was fine. I proceeded nicely & told her that I no longer wanted the food. And that its ok that I would pay, no problem. With a grin she kept insisting why? I refuse to tell her why. Shortly about 7 mins later a man comes over to the table I'm not sure if he was the manager. He asked what happened & I explained. Very nicely he tried to correct the issue & asked if there was anything they can do. I refused to accept anything & I did tell him that I would pay for the food ,he did not bill me for the untouched platter. I find it very strange that when my server brought the bill over again she was with a grin & almost seemed she wanted to burst in laughter. Will I return? Don't think so. I've given this place many chances. As far as their food, I can't knock it. Food wise I give it 3.75 stars taste good & always fresh. The bakery I give it 4 Stars. Hope they take this review seriously & offer their staff extra training. Suerte!! Next Step, I'll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau & Consumer Reports. That's how disappointed I am...

Some guy tried to help me park, which was odd, but appreciated. If you can't park in a small space after living in Hudson County, it's time to move. Next, the hostess was top tier hostess level of courteous and graceful, and my waiter came over and helped me find the right thing to eat, enthusiastically. The peppers, onions, tomato based sauce, and potato slices made the chicken so good no dessert could live up to it. The yuca was good, the dipping sauces were tasty, the beans tasted sort of like pork belly, which wasn't bad, and the avena fresca was good.

I can't rate 4.5 out of 5 but if I could I'd take half a star off for their $8 tres leches cake with non-dairy topping on it. How can you sell THREE MILKS cake and then have a fake topping that isn't milk related? Still, the meal was so good I can't go lower than 4.5, rounded up to 5. The cake under the lame topping was really traditionally good. I also didn't understand why I had to point at the cake to order it when it's not difficult to pronounce in Spanish. SPA: trehs-leh-chehs . IPA: tɾes-le-tʃes . It wasn't exactly hard, and it's also served all over the place, so even a drunk farmer from Idaho can probably pronounce it. Hostess and waiter 1 understood me, but there I am pointing at tres leches. Bizarre. Be prepared to point, if you look like you can't speak Spanish.

So let's sum it up. Cool dude helping me park my car is 1. Super hostess is 2. Great waiter making the food choice easy and rewarding is 3. Waitress discussing the taste of the food with him, helping as well is 4. Pushy dude asking "Do you want anything else?" as if I stayed too long and making me repeat my desert three times, and then point at a menu for something as simple to say as "big mac" makes it 4/5 for my experience with people. Entree was 1 perfect thing. Yuca were good, so that's 2. Beans were enjoyable, and that's 3. Drink was great, which is 4. Cake was so-so, which is 4/5 for food. Seems like I should be leaving 4/5, but the first waiter and food were so good I'm leaving it at 5.

I always go in person here and the food is decent, this time I ordered online. It got delivered quickly but I cant even begin to explain my disappointment. I ordered a Skirt steak special which says that it includes TWO side orders. When I received my food,the plastic they use to cover the food was not closed well enough and all of the sauce and some meat was spilling inside. Aside from that,I got sweet fried plantains and a house salad. They gave me all three items mixed. The 3 pieces of meat,salad and plantains. Why would anybody mix a salad with dressing and plantains AND meat? Also, the “house” salad had a weird dressing that tasted like watery tomato sauce,it only had carrots and beets added to it and nothing else,despite the description saying it has more things. What type of salad is that… AND they only added THE TIP of the fried plaintain, they literally gave me ONE piece of plantain mixed in with the horrible salad and the meat. The meat was the only thing I ate. Please, if you are not going to deliver good looking and good tasting food then don’t deliver it at all. It seemed like whoever made and packaged my food was dying to go home. The food isn’t free and there is no reason why such a good restaurant should be delivering food like that. I will not be...
