First let me start out by saying there is no better charter in the world in my opinion than these wonderful humans. I am disgusted with myself that I can not remember our tour guide and captains name. And I sincerely apologize for that. But trust me from our experience the owner is proficient with training and picking his staff. We should have paid double and triple for what we experienced on this magical adventure. I am Puerto Rican and usually preach the don’t fall for the tourist trap stuff. But I decided to take some friends out on the water and since I don’t own a boat we did some research. The company was fairly new so we got a better price. The trip started in Farjado far north east side of island Ten minutes from where we stayed in Luquillo and 40 minutes east of San Juan. Super beautiful area. I’m not here to review that you get that part free when you head to the place. We were of course late because of my two counterparts. I’m not here to review them either. Not a single problem and we didn’t eat so there was a place to get fresh sandwiches before we left and we did. Good spot. We did the safety instructions, was a breeze. And we were off. Ten minutes we arrived on top of a reef yup Ten minutes. Crystal clear water. The trip started with some snorkeling. Freaking amazing. Millions of fish and millions of coral. While snorkeling our tour guide mixed us up some amazing cocktails. Yup soo when we came up for air drinks were handed to us. Fins still on still in the water millions of fish swimming around. Tour guide was insanely educated on the reef and super informative. Did I say amazing this was only the first 45 minutes. Music cranking. We chose the playlist they were the Dj’s. We got a little tired and we were off. Next stop was a private island uninhabited almost White sand. They parked the boat dove in the ocean and delivered an umbrella for us to lay on the beach. For another hour and a half they took turns diving into the ocean and delivering us food and beverages to the beach or anywhere we swam while there. The captain hung out with me in the water for a decent 45. We discussed life, food, hobbies his beautiful island and almost everything under the sun. Literally under the sun. I felt like I was with my best friend. After our adventure on the private island we went to another private island and did some turtle spotting. Yup that’s right sea turtles nesting and swimming around us like we were in finding Nemo. We had the option to swim but we were beat from the sun, swimming and diving. Everywhere we went the water was crystal clear. Amazing views. And the point of this was to let you know our experience was once in a lifetime. Good thing they aren’t going anywhere for us it won’t be once in a lifetime we’ll be back. Trust me you want to fall into this tourist trap. Worth every single...
Read moreJust last week we spent an afternoon on Escape to Paradise with Jamil & John. I'll mention the boat itself and the beautiful places we sailed to but what made this day AMAZING were Jamil & John. These 2 gentlemen went out of their way from the moment we arrived to give us the greatest time ever! There was nothing more they could've done for us- they started out by putting all our belongings on the boat for us, helping us on & getting us comfortable. They took all our drinks we brought and put them on ice in their cooler. The first stop was on our way to Icacos for snorkeling. They gave our kids fully detailed instructions and helped everyone get their mask and fins on. Jamil helped everyone get in to the water and John guided them the entire time! We were not even aware we would have our own personal snorkel guide. Next stop was a few feet off of Icacos Island. They set up an umbrella on the beach for us and personally carried items through the water, onto the beach for us. They set up a giant floating mat and brought us drinks as needed! They even took our empty drinks back to the boat so we didn't have to stop what we were doing! You could not have had better service on any other boat ride in the area! They served us a platter of fresh fruits and sandwiches back on the boat before heading to our next stop, Palomino Island. The water and the beaches were beautiful! We got full sightseeing tours on our way to each stop and learned so much about the area. John & Jamil take great pride in welcoming you to their island and making you feel comfortable. They offered to hook our phones up to play music but we asked them to just play what they would listen to, as we wanted the feel of the island. The boat wasn't huge. We were a party of 5 and were very comfortable and could've fit a few more and been just fine. These 2 guys couldn't have done more to make this the most enjoyable day of our trip! We will definitely return on our next trip. Do not hesitate to book with them, do not even look for another boat trip, none will beat this one! And please tip them well! We have been on other boat trips and none compare to the service and friendliness you get here! Thank you...
Read moreHighly recommend Escape to Paradise when coming to Puerto Rico. Captain Angel and Yamil were amazing. Their goals are safety with making your time memorable. This is a private charter which is nice, especially during covid since you are with just your party! Captain Angel navigated us with ease through the water. Our party had some non swimmers and it was no problem. The guys made sure they were fully equipped to enjoy the snorkeling. Yamil is so knowledgeable, it was like he is one with the island. He guided us through the snorkeling tour. We have never experienced anything so beautiful! When we got back on the boat there were multiple drinks to pick from and snacks including a fruit salad. We went to ICACOS ISLAND if you want to see a beautiful beach (book here)! They set up an umbrella and beach pad in the water for us. They also had floating noodles so you can float with your drink. They see your drink empty and they come with another one. You honestly get treated so well. We had the full day charter so we got lunch on the boat as well! They might want to consider a restaurant too, best chuletas (pork chops) on the island, pasta salad and bread! We then went over to PALOMINO ISLAND and enjoyed that beach also. Something that I observed was on top of the great service that we received was their attention to cleanliness. They continue to wipe the inside of the boat while we enjoyed the water. This company got it right!!! The service, the professionalism, the cleanliness 110% on point. If you want to escape and have a day of fun I suggest Escape to...
