This store is in need of some serious equality and accountability training. Over the last two years they have gotten my order wrong everytime I ordered. Also during that time I've noticed I don't get the same treatment of the majority of customers that come in there. Only difference I notice is skin tone and accent. Today I tried to find out why it was soo hard to get my custom coffee right. Especially being a former barista I remember the barriers I faced with my former managers encouraging me to skip steaming the creamer in order to be faster. Kind of believe this is might be the issue here. But honestly I feel like my drink is being made wrong on purpose here to discourage me from being a regular customer at what should be my home store. I even asked to give the one person who treated me kindly a compliment face to fac only to be told by the lead that she didn't fell comfortable letting me talk to that barista who was now in the back. That's the first time in 20 plus years of being in the food hospitality industry I've heard that. Even worst to be on that end of it. This place Especially the team leads and store managers need extra equality training. And Definitely classes on how to give exceptional customer service. I would also recommend training on identifying the right cup and steaming creamer for a coffee as it seems that's the mark they repeated keep missing over the last 2 years I've been going. -Regards, Shane Alumni Barista 20+...
Read moreThis Starbucks had a recent high price increase and the staff are obviously not having fun anymore (not their fault donât punish them). I expect to see high turnover and a lot of new faces here. I used to like this Starbucks for my morning coffee. Not anymore. Besides the poorly engineered parking lot during rush⌠The staff have always been friendly, and used to look like they were having fun crunching the rush. Now the staff look like they hate their jobs. I donât know what has happened recently, but the staff is just getting crushed and they look so upset and unhappy. Itâs obviously new management. The latest price hike also pushed me away. Starbucks is too expensive, they might treat their employees terribly (reading the news) and I am stuck behind customers who are taking forever to order cake pops and microwaved breakfast sandwiches. Their answer to this is to use their app and not interact with the baristas. Their answer to this is that you can just come in and pick up your drink and you wonât have to talk or interact with them. I playfully asked them why their coffee was so expensive now, they said I should get the app to save money. I shouldnât have to download an app not to be overcharged.
My basic morning coffee with a shot should not cost $7-8....
Read moreWent to this location with my daughter during the evening after grocery shopping. When we walked in two of the workers did not greet or at least say someone will be with you. We waited about 5 minutes not sure who was going to take our order. Someone eventually came from the back an took our order. We ordered two double choc chip frappe. We waited nearly 20 minutes. While waiting one of the girls making the drinks kept slamming the blender device in the sink barely rinsing in between orders it was very tense. I ended up throwing my drink away because it tasted like rotten milk I had a strong feeling I would end up sick.. Im not surprised because I saw the milk sitting out my whole time in there. I could imagine this going on all day an the milk not being fresh.I waisted a whole chunk of my evening and money to end up with nothing. I should have just went to the location inside...
