Would not return to this location. I ordered something from the harbor freight website, I tried to cancel it but they shipped it to me anyways and said I had to bring it to the harbor freight near me and they would give me a FULL refund. No problem. I ordered a Daytona jack which is a little over 100 pounds, I could not lift that. I had someone put it into the car for me because I figured I could ask someone at harbor freight to help me get it out of the car. So I drove to this location today, Insanely packed. The sign on the door said 25 was the max capacity (I believe) and they defintely had way over 25 people not only in line but people coming in by the truckload. It was insane. I understand the associates are busy but that doesn't mean you still can't be respectful. It's not my fault you chose to work at Harbor freight. So I waited in line and told the cashier I had called earlier about coming in to return a Daytona jack I had ordered online, but I will need help getting it out of my car. She rolled her eyes and sighed at me, Turned to a man (Who was doing nothing) and said "I have to bother you to help her get something out of her car for a return". Pretty rude if you ask me but I said nothing. The jack was so heavy even he couldn't lift it himself. So I go back in, Get in the same line. It's finally my turn and she just stares at me... I said "Hi, I'm still here to return the jack". She asks for my information and such, And asks if I have any proof of how much I paid. I was a little surprised she even asked me that because I would assume it would be on my account. So I had to get on my phone, Login to the harbor freight website and go to my order (Which took a little time). She was obviously annoyed but I didn't know she would need me to do this. I told her I paid $219 (I believe). She says "No, How much was the jack itself?" I said $199 and some change, Why? And she tells me they can't refund shipping. Her tone was just super rude this entire time and I was so surprised because I was the only person in her line and it wasn't a super difficult task. I said "Really? because I talked to customer service and they said I was able to get a full refund and I called before I came in and I was also told I'd be getting a FULL refund." Needless to say she ended up giving me my entire refund. The attitude that she gave me from the beginning was just unnecessary. I never shop at harbor freight anyways but if for some reason I ever need to I'll definitely go somewhere else that at least has decent people. If you don't like customer service, Don't work in customer service. If you had a bad day, It's nobody else's fault, Especially not...
Read moreI went to harbor freight today, looking to buy a replacement screw, electrical connector, and several tools I needed for my brand new ebike I purchased the night before. I planned on spending roughly 100 dollars. When I entered the building and asked the cashier where the items would be located, before answering my question she told me I had to leave my bike outside. I explained to her that I wasn't sure what size I needed and there were several choices, I was told I still needed to leave the bike outside. I told the girl I just paid 1400 dollars for it and forgot to bring my bike lock and I had no intention of leaving it unattended. I asked if she could get her supervisor because I was sure she would help me. The cashier gave me some b.s. excuse about how a supervisor was not available. Finally I asked if I could several sizes of the screws outside quickly to make sure I had the correct size (each screw was around 8-12 CENTS! each) and was told no I could not do that. I asked if I could leave a dollar deposit which more than covered the cost... can't do that either, I was told however I could purchase them and return the wrong size provided I had my receipt. So I decided to thank the cashier for her time which must be extremely valuable since she was unable to help me in anyway, And informed her that she can tell her manager I am going to spend the 150 bucks or so at ace hardware, the employess went above and beyond to help me, oh yeah and I caught a few great...
Read moreWaited in line for about 10mins and when it was my turn at register, cashier said you have to wait for that Item it was out back, i cant ring you up till i see if we have it. So i said can you look out back? He said he must ring a row of customers before he can do that, and his manager was on a conference call, so he is a lone wolf, So i step aside and waited for 30 mins, while customer after customer the line is long gone! Another line formed, and that one died down and another!, so a female cashier said are you alset to me, I said and pointed at the cashier I'm waiting for him the check a item out back so I can buy this item. She was with a customer when she asked me that by the way. She picked up the phone and called out back and said there isn't any available. My blood is boiling at this point. I only wasted my time on the lazy employee, I look over at him and has a grin on his face. I just thank the female cashier and left. I will never set foot in that building again. There's a reason why fall river massachusetts is the 5th worse city to...
