Last Spring my wife and I were blessed with a beautiful granddaughter named Cecilia Rose. Having a home in Falmouth for over thirty years, the Cape is a special place to us and to both our daughters who lifeguarded, worked in Restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed their summers in Falmouth. When our daughter told us Cecilia Rose would be called Cece… only one thing came to mind.

The Gilded Oyster has a line of Cape Cod Jewelry with a beautiful necklace of interlocking C’s representing Cape Cod. When I saw that and explained to Meaghan that I was thinking of the necklace as a Mother’s Day gift to my daughter she presented a number of options (gold/silver and size) that were difficult to choose from. We selected the medium sized Silver CC necklace representing my daughter’s love of Cape Cod and of her timeless and personal love of her newborn child “Cece”. Needless to say she loved it. I can't say enough good things about this store, it's quickly becoming my go-to jewelry store! My family lives in Falmouth and the last time my boyfriend and I visited we had a few spare minutes to pop in and shop around. The store is so charming and well organized, the staff is friendly and helpful without that jewelry-store pushiness that makes me uncomfortable, their jewelry selection has a nice mix of unique pieces and Cape Cod staples which are all beautiful, and I was shocked at how reasonable their prices were!

I wanted to give a special shout-out to the owners Denise and Meaghan, I recently had to exchange an item due to a sizing error on my end and they were quick to respond when I reached out, and the correct item was quickly shipped my way. I can't wait to stop by again...

Very impressed with their customer service. First my sister in law tagged me in an instagram post, someone from The Gilded Oyster responded to our comments. Which we thought was very nice of them to do. Then on the 4th of July, I called to see if they were open. No one answered the phone, so I assumed they were closed, a few seconds after I hung up, they called me back! I was shocked! I asked them if they were open, and the woman said they were about to close, and offered to stay open later for me! WOW! Of course, I would never ask them to do that, I just went on the 5th.
