This place is so cute; I wish it was open more often! I came in with a few friends, and all the staff members were immediately kind and welcoming. I loved the homey, rustic themed decor in the bright and clean dining room. Once the place filled up with costumers, it felt a little cramped which made it confusing to navigate on the way out. There are lots of tasty options, so we ordered from the breakfast and lunch menus. I tried their sautéed vegetables breakfast mixed with potatoes, eggs any style and cheddar sauce. The sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked. I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh the veggies were. There was a generous mix of broccolini, peppers, tomatoes, cauliflower, etc. I think I tried either the rye or sourdough toast. It felt homemade; it was very crispy and not very soft. My only complaint is that I wish I had gotten a little more of the cheddar sauce to amount with the pile of veggies with my meal. My friends ordered a salmon bagel and a sandwich which they enjoyed. We had a variety of options for condiments, such as ketchups and hot sauces. I have to praise the kitchen for making everything feel super high quality by using fresh and local ingredients! The menu items can be a bit pricey because of the location, but it is definitely worth spending for a refreshing experience.

Just a wonderful meal we had at the Pickle Jar Kitchen! We went on a Sunday in mid September so it was about a 30 min wait time but they took our number and we just went shopping down the street while we waited. But the food was fantastic. We had the French fries which were thin cut and unique, the tofu scramble, and the gluten free French toast. The gluten free French toast was a special treat for me since I haven’t had that dish in a very long time being gluten free. It was fluffy, not too sweet, and hit the spot! My partner said the tofu scramble was one of the best he ever had in a restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and open, and the coffee was great as well! This restaurant is worth the wait time, so don’t worry!

My wife and I have been regulars of the Pickle Jar as they have several unique breakfast options my wife enjoys. Historically, service has been mixed (sometimes really good and often quite rude staff). Today, showed up 5 minutes before open to put our name on the list. Seated around 9:05am, ordered around 9:10-9:15am...at 9:37am asked when our meal was coming because we had to leave for an appointment at 10am. Was told they had a bunch of orders and ours was next (interesting to note others seated after us were served already by this time). We had to leave at 9:50am with no meal yet. Prior we said we would take our meal with to go boxes to eat it on the run but still not done when we left. Our guest stayed and at 10:02am our meals came. I let our guest know we didn't want them because who wants to eat breakfast a couple hours old. Pickle jar still charged for the meals and no apologies. In sum, Pickle Jar has good food, only one nice server, very expensive, not that good coffee, but a very nice location. While the food is good, service will often leave you a bit disappointed. After charging us for food that never showed up until after we have to go, we will not...

I found this new spot that opened up about 3 years ago, and they are open during the off season (a.k.a. Winter months)! It had very cute and clean exterior with with pickle jar sign, and nice big windows. The inside was very open, bright, and nice large space. Lots of seating throughout, entire restaurant was nicely arranged so that it had nice flow, and more than enough space to walk around between the tables.

The food was amazing! Everything we ordered came out really great and delicious, especially the fried pickle chips and open faced BBQ pork. They were out of this world good!

The service was very friendly, and more than happy help, but then kept forgetting what we asked... like refill on water or a little container/bag for take-home bag (we ordered more than we could finish in one sitting). Super sweet waitress but not very efficient was the thing... But, with a kind and friendly smile, you can't help but look beyond what was missing, but appreciate what you were receiving from this place, a wonderful meal and a welcoming vibe! I will definitely recommend and can't wait to go back myself! Read my full review of this restaurant and food on my blog,...
