After reading a review that was only 18min old saying you cant get in after 7PM, we raced to get there. At 6:30PM on a weeknight we were told 105min for a party of 6. The reviews and previous visit enticed us to wait for this food tasting. Setting** A tab at the bar, and some casual outdoor lounging space on the far side of the building kept us entertained, while we waited on a cell phone text. I do wish there was a walk up service bar at the bar for patrons. Then it wouldn't disturb the barstool seated guests yelling and reaching past their personal space for my order. Bar staff was very friendly, and had the skills to build a well balanced, tasty drink recipe. Outside passing servers kept the lounge area neat by bussing glasses and refilling chips and salsa with a smile. Great management to keep that team building positive in an area that is not tipping. Food** Our server Faith(veteran) was flawless in answering questions, and guiding us into choosing a perfect meal. I can't help but choose from the House Specialty section. Pork Carnitas seemed done everywhere, but Faith reassured me I would be happy. I am so glad I throttled back on the chips & salsa. The pork with a shallow drizzle of drippings, comes in a hot crockery, topped with a stuffed, sliced avocado. A side of bacon hash is (as the kids say) AMAZEBALLS! Perfect carmelizing on the veggies. I subbed in rice for beans. Of course some cheesy tortillas to push everything onto your fork. The pork was well seasoned, and tender like mom's pot roast. Drinks** I tasted the classic margarita. Nice sour mix, and smooth tequila. I ordered the spicy Mango margarita. They ask first if you want it spicy or not. Habanero is in there somewhere. Maybe the tequila or the spicy seasoning that rims the glass. I may be biased on the heat, but it was not "Mouths on fire" hot, so don't be scared. The heat you do get from the rim, mixed with the refreshing of the drink, is the perfect Ying & Yang. I ordered a Sexican with dinner. The citrus did not compliment my meal flavors, and might have been better with seafood, or chips & salsa. A tasty drink with a nice balance ratio of alcohol to mix. Service** I found the staff super friendly considering what's required in this environment. It's packed regularly, and there no time to just coast through their duties. The hostess staff was pleasant and courteous to everyone. Even those they had to turn away because of capacity, and those hungry guests asking again "how much longer". The kitchen always had food moving out, not being sent back. One dish of under cooked shrimp from our table was an exception. Summary** Put Anejo on your early dinner night list. Bring a designated driver. Share food, so you get to taste a lot. Don't be grumpy and starving when you put your name on a lengthy wait list. Food will never taste good angry.

(Last visited 5/5/2022.) Up for the week vacationing in Cape Cod, specifically Falmouth and it's dinnertime! Right on the main strip in downtown Falmouth on Main Street is this gem. The first time we walked by it there was a GANG of folks outside enjoying themselves and a completely full restaurant inside! We couldn't even get a table the first time we tried so we made sure to spin the block later on in the week to try this place out! Atmosphere/Appearance: The outside is lined with tables PERFECT for people-watching along Main Street. Lol. It was decently warm outside and the umbrellas above each table helped keep the sun out of our eyes. However, INSIDE though... was so LIVE! The music was pumping, the decor was bright, exuberant, fun and uplifting! I absolutely loved it! Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but she was awesome. She was fun, energetic, personable and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Food: I started out with a Chorizo Potato Empanada which is a fluffy, flaky, crispy shell filled with Oaxaca-jack cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, lime crema, salsa roja and topped with cotija cheese. It was HOT, temperature wise, but very delicious with an excellent balance of salty, savory and creamy flavors. For my entree I went with Langosta Enchiladas! I chose these because where else but Cape Cod can you get lobster in Mexican food?! So of course I had to try them! Inside the floury, cheesy tortillas were ancho-glazed local lobster and fire roasted corn with chipotle cream sauce then topped with Oaxaca-jack cheese and sour cream. The lobster was a lil' overcooked and the flavor was drowned out by everything else going on with the enchiladas, but I did enjoy the novelty of lobster-flavored Mexican food! Lol. They were served with refried beans and Mexican rice which were also delicious as well as filling. Value: It's Cape Cod so it's not gonna be cheap because this is sort of a vacation destination, even though people do live here year-round. My single empanada was $15.00. Yah, trippin'. My lobster enchiladas were $30.00. So yeah, bring an open mind and your check book if you'd like to check this place out. In conclusion, I really enjoyed this place, so much that we came back a 2nd time! Check this place out if you're in the area.

beautiful restaurant but very loud music and chatter. Waitstaff relatively young and hosts were semi snobby which kind of started off the visit on a sour note. we do realize we arrived at time for dinner but our poor waitress (Veronica) had a 9-12 table section with people at almost all of them. I do not know how anyone is supposed to give good service with that many tables. we waited about 20 minutes after getting our drinks and had to flag Veronica down to take our order. she ensured everything went well following that and handled what she could to the best of her abilities. my dad and I got margaritas which were pretty strong and pretty good. my dad ordered the chili verde soup thing which maybe wasn't what he was expecting (little heavy on the stomach) so kind of disappointed. both my parents order the tres tacos and enjoyed the elote taco the best. the other two were ok one was too spicy for my mom and the other the meat was just too chewy to even finish it. I got the arroz con pollo (which comes with saffron risotto?!?! I asked for them to switch it to the actual rice which I'm glad that I did) the chicken was okay not alot of flavor but for my sensitive tummy it was okay. The bill was about 100$ and the experience was just okay. Not authentic mexican at all but at least the place was cute.

Traveling to Falmouth for a weekend, we were very excited to eat some delicious food. Any place that has a waitlist is a sign that it's pretty darn good, right? That's absolutely right. We had such a nice night at Anejo Mexican Bistro! With times of this COVID pandemic, we felt very safe with a socially distanced dinner. The service was on the slower side but overall good. Everyone was wearing a mask, and all the tables were apart with adequate space. The food was delicious. We got a fun mix of food to try and satisfy our never ending Tex Mex craving. The langosta taquitos are amazing. The camarones quesadillas were perfect. The chorizo fundido was generously cheesy with gobs of yummy chorizo. I have a feeling you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Also, I love a place that gives you complimentary chips and salsa--every place should ALWAYS do this. The drinks were great. We got 4 different margaritas and were happy with all of them! My favorite was the frozen raspberry margarita. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the Falmouth area.

We happened upon this place walking down the street en route to another restaurant . Despite being notably busy they were able to seat us immediately, our waitress had chips salsa and waters within 2 minutes and returned a few minutes later to ask if we had any questions and we were able to order without delay on her part (took us a few minutes to decide) lots of promising options.we clearly had a ln experienced professional server. The time from order to food arrival was impressive based on how full the restaurant was, sadly the cocktails were weak for the price but still tasty. Both of us enjoyed our meals I got the tres taco sampler and she ordered the tres enchiladas. The rice had a different flavor than either of us were used to, wasn't bad just different. Bottom line the food was good, the service from deja was great, the place was clearly well run cocktails could be stronger but we would return without hesitation.

I came here this April. Most of town was pretty quiet since the high season hasn't rolled around yet, but Añejo was packed! We got the calamari and Baja tacos 🌮 I also came here last summer for a birthday dinner with my friends. The restaurant was in such a good location from our hotel, right in town! When we arrived it was super crowded, so I guess that was a good sign! Right when we sat down we had the friendliest waitress and already I knew this place had the best vibes. I feel like you can't go wrong with anything you order here. The food is so good, and you're taken such good care of. The waiters even brought out fried ice cream and a brownie with a candle on top for me. I think they wanted to sing happy birthday, but chose not to because of COVID. If you're staying in town, please go here and sit outside when it's darker out. It's so much fun and they even have on the fire.
