I have never been so disgusted with service in my life from a business in the same town where I reside! I have been coming to Hallmark in Fanwood, NJ for 16 years, if not longer, and to be told that the store policy will not accept my $100 bill for my father's birthday card is absurd!!! How can you tell that you cleared out the registers and the store is clearly still open. It was until the second time I came back in to ask if the store doesn't have change at all when the associate goes to another assoicate to see what can be done. How can a major business like Hallmark not have change for $100 bill! There are no signs posted concerning large bills policy. Now I am being forced to walk to Walgreens in Plainfield for a birthday card! Unbelieveable! This needs to be rectified as I will no longer be patronizing this store or any Hallmarks for that...

My husband, last minute Christmas shopper, bought me a few things with my kids from this store. If I had to estimate, I’d say 98% of their products are made from non sustainable material like polyester and made in communist countries but way over priced here. Since the one item was on sale, it was not returnable. I was going to donate it to a dog shelter, but making dogs suffer chemically treated polyester with dyes is too cruel. The second item was credited on a paper receipt since I didn’t have my husband’s credit card. You can’t even offer a gift card? Or online card to be even more eco friendly? What are my chances of remembering a piece of paper if I ever need to use it? Cheesy products, bad...
Read moreI love this store but the last time I went in there the employees were being treated horribly. Their ac was broken and the store was so ungodly hot. The employee said they had been working there for almost a week when it was about 100 outside I don't want to know what it was inside. Corporate office should have, could have fixed immediately, I know. Frankly OSHA should have...
