Go to Mears Pharmacy instead!! My husband is a terminal cancer patient and Iāve been going to a pharmacy every month for 14 years and just had the worst experience Iāve ever had at any pharmacy, at the Farmington Smiths. The way they talk rudely about customers a few feet from them is very disrespectful. Iāve never seen a less sympathetic pharmacist who sits back and doesnāt talk to customers, just talks about them. Iām guessing they think we canāt hear behind the dividers, but we can hear and see them peaking around. I spent an hour there and then needed to leave. I got through to my insurance over the phone multiple times, while they said they were stuck on hold, which seemed suspicious. They said they would call me back last night. They didnāt call me, and so I called this morning to find they had no notes in the system and we needed to start over. It was just an all around bad experience.
This morning the Smiths Tech was able to get it straightened out in twenty minutes, which makes me wonder why they wouldnāt help last night. It felt like they were being purposely difficult yesterday and Iām not sure why.
I didnāt trust that they were going to actually help, after being let down yesterday, and so I moved the prescription to a better pharmacy faster than they called me back.
Mears is personable and very kind!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSomehow I ended up walking into what seemed like a clock-in room by accident (layout of this place confuses me). As I turned around to head back the way I came from, I noticed a big āLehua tells it like it isā written on the whiteboard. Not something I intentionally kept in mind, but unknowingly memorized. Once I got back into the main section of the store and found my way to the counter, I went to grab my prescription. I stared to panic as I reached the front of the line since I had been fumbling with my GoodRx app for the past few minutes (trying to get my discount code pulled up). I was about to give up and walk away embarrassed⦠just as an employee asked me if I needed help. She then guided me through the app and helped me checkout with my prescription using the discount code. Such a nice person to go out of her way. She saved me an embarrassing stroll and an EVENTUALLY embarrassing 2nd wait through the line. As I walked out of the store, I realized that Lehua (her nametag) was the one who had helped me. Then I thought to myself as I got in my car: āDamn, Lehua tells it like it isā.
So 5āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø for the service (if Iām going off of Lehuaās help) but Iām giving it a 4āļøāļøāļøāļø since the layout in there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe purchased two doses of vaccine; however the pharmacist did not warn us or even inform us that the vaccine MUST be refriegerated. This is highly critical information that should be stressed -- or at least mentioned! -- when the medication is issued. In addition, if you read all the perscription information, the notice on the bag says "Fridge - 49" which is NOT a clear message. The message should read "Keep refridgerated at all times; Do not freeze." What is so hard about printing this warning on the prescription?? Instead, this message is not on the perscription form and not on the bottle -- and the pharmacist did not mention anything. In our case, even the nebulous "Fridge - 49" message was not visable because the reciept stapled on the bag obscured this message. When we called and asked for a replacement, they told us to call the manufacturer of the vaccine (but of course did not have the manufacturer's phone number). When we called the manufacturer, the information regarding the medication was different from the information that Smith's gave us. Therefore, just so you can avoid this situation or a similar situation, please be very careful and do not trust Smith's to give you accurate or timely...
