It’s really sad to come here and read the reviews that had an amazing experience here. We wish we had the same courtesy. My sister was prom dress shopping and was so excited to come here. We all couldn’t go back with her, only two of us, which was understandable and fine; They told us she could walk up to the front to show the rest of our family. But a family of four came in after us and all of them were allowed to be with their person. Little weird, but whatever. As my sister was trying on different dresses, the girl helping us and the older boss lady seemed irritated with us the whole time, was making faces, made rude comments, and made comments about the dresses not fitting. Regardless if a dress doesn’t fit, you can always try it on to see if you like what it looks like, order it online, size up, and get it shipped to your house. Or they could’ve just grabbed bigger dresses to try on. Then I found out I needed to change my newborn baby, asked where the bathroom was, it was in the area we were in. I found out later that they were upset I brought my baby to the back where you can only have two people. But I literally just took her to the bathroom to change her, and by the time I got out we were leaving. When we got outside we ALL shared how awful the experience was. The girl helping us made my sister feel fat and ugly, with comments and faces she made. When prom dress shopping you should feel beautiful and not judged. Our family in the front weren’t doing anything wrong, they were just sitting and being patient, but comments, looks, and unfairness kept happening. Maybe it’s cause we are a loud bunch? Maybe cause our father looks and speaks a little ghetto? Maybe cause we had a baby and a small service dog? I don’t know, but it doesn’t matter. We are here for a little girl just trying to get her prom dress and have a good time. We ended up leaving cause it was so awful. Thankfully, we went to David’s bridal next and found a GORGEOUS dress similar to one she tried on here. The staff at David’s bridal was so kind, professional, and LOVED my baby...
Read moreThis was our first time coming here to purchase my daughter; her very first formal dress for a school pageant. We were welcomed and greeted warmly by Ms. Jackie. I loved all of the beautiful dresses that were on display. We arrived around 2 pm and they have so many dresses to choose from. It was taking some time to try to find the right dress for her. We started being assisted by Mandy; she's absolutely the best. She knew immediately where to start looking for dresses that fit and the best styles and designs that she may like. Mandy went above and beyond to get my daughter taken care of. We ended up with a beautiful dress and shoes. Ms. Jackie helped to select the beautiful hair pin and matching earrings. I was the most impressed that we were there way after the 3pm closing time. Mandy stayed with us until we found everything we needed and checked us out so we could leave. This was close to 3:45 pm. The price of the gowns and dresses are worth it and the experience my daughter had was priceless. She said to me in the car that she felt/feels so beautiful. It's greatly appreciated that her first experience like this will be one of her best moments. I didn't get to take many pictures. However, I will attach what photos I do have. 🙂 I have attached a picture of Ms. Jackie on the left and Mandy is on the right. I would highly recommend coming here. The service...
Read moreI usually refrain from writing poor reviews on small businesses because I'm an avid supporter of local small businesses. Unfortunately, this business by far had me baffled. On our way to David's bridal, I saw the name of the business as we were passing, so we made a U turn to go check it out. I have a wedding and a prom to shop for. From the minute my daughter and I entered, the lady who worked immediately asked in a very aggressive tone if we had an appointment, to which I responded "no, we just saw your store and decided to come check it out." She pointed to the iPad and said to check in. As my daughter was filling out the long che k in questions, she instructed me to sit down, as if I'm not allowed to look at anything. Once check in was completed, I got up from the chair, and the lady turned around and said, "now, take your phone camera and scan that barcode." The bar code sent me to another round of questions that were even more personal adjust to even look at the dress. I decided to leave not just because of the process, but the lady was just glaring at my daughter. I'm not sure if she thought we couldn't afford to shop there, or our race, but I refused to stoop to her level and decided to purchase somewhere else. This place don't even deserve a 1 star rating, but it's the...
