Slumberland Furniture — Local services in Fergus Falls

Assistant was not that sure at first I was an actual sale. She simply pointed in the direction where the Kona drop leaf table was that I asked to see. She did not TAKE me to the item I referred to. She said they would have to ORDER one. Then I asked for 2 EXTRA matching chairs. I would have to ORDER them, too. I asked if I could just buy and take the floor sample. Yes, that's what I did. She then realized she had 2 more matching chairs in stock as well. I took those as well. She didn't want to honor my $50.00 coupon on my phone, either. But she finally did after checking with her manager. Then when I paid for everything, she OVERCHARGED me $111.00 and some change. She said she would refund that to my debit card. I'm not impressed with her performance as a sales representative. Fergus Falls, Minnesota, is a small town. They always say to buy local. My actual entrance into the Slumberland was to pick up 2 table lamps and three 30 inch high bar stools I had purchased and had delivered to the Fergus Falls store location. I pur6those items in Alexandria, Minnesota and had them transferred to Fergus Falls. As you can see, I was NOT JUST...

Extremely unsatisfied with the "service" and delivery. Vickie was great help with selection and showing different options while in store, however, the delivery guy brought the couch broken, said it was fine and it clearly wasn't. Noticed that there were a few feet from the bottom of the couch so had Vickie take some off of a showroom model to get us by. Then went to install the couch and noticed more broken and bent parts. Got ahold of Vickie and she was quick to order parts, when the parts finally arrived, the driver came to pick up the broken section and ran into our tree while leaving the yard. Then when they finally brought the "repaired" section back, he didn't bring the bolts back to secure it to the base. (The bolts i suggested he leave here when they took the section for repair) they then drove back to the store and returned with the wrong bolts so we had to drill holes and make something else work. Now it's bolted together and still has a catch in the recliner. Next time I'll just refuse delivery all together when something is broken on delivery....

I think my sales representative was excellent I would give her a five star, but as far as slumberland and having the products that the advertised in the paper on hand for their customers I would give you a one minus.

I was in two months ago to buy furniture that was advertised in our flyer and when you get out to our store in Fergus Falls yet can’t get it for sometimes a month or two or they don’t know exactly when it’s available and I know other people and town that I’ve had the same issues

I feel bad for your sales representatives. Because I’m quite sure they work on commission and went to slumberland can’t get the products out on the floor for the customer I’m sure it’s frustrating and orders get canceled it must be very difficult for your people to make a living out there and you have some excellent sales people they just need to have the product available so they...
