Westridge Cinema 5 — Local services in Fergus Falls

This movie theater is on borrowed time. Born and raised in Fergus, I remember when the mall was busy. The theater was packed.

Now, the lobby doors to the mall hallways are closed off and the lobby smells like rotting building. Any time it rains out, they cancel the shows because the roof leaks. The theaters themselves smell of anything from vomit to mold. Picture quality is ok, but my 4k TV at home has an better image and my couch is more comfy than these seats.

There really isn’t much of a reason to go to this theater anymore unless you crave to buy $8 popcorn and $5 drinks. Now, if we are going to catch a movie, we pair it with shopping in Fargo and go to a Marcus Theater for their dreamloungers and bigger screens. I think I counted 6 people the last time I went to a prime-time Friday night feature at Westridge. Do they know they are losing...

Nice small little theater, but pretty out dated as the mall it is in is closed with no stores. Plus, it was very difficult to find.... I would of never thought to look on the backside of the mall (I just moved here) For the size of this town/city it deserves a bigger and more updated movie theater. People working at the theater were exceptional! There were long lines and they got through the lines fast....

The Mall itself is long dead. And the Theatre is having to keep its main mall doors to the lobby "closed'. The smell of rot, mold, and mildew is that strong. It looks as if our Movie Theatre is on short barrowed time as the mall building is dying. Its so bad they won't allow walking in the main hall anymore..
