Do not take your jewelry here!! I had a ring that was missing diamonds. I asked him to put in the same cut and clarity in natural diamonds just like the rest of my ring! I told him that I had another jeweler, and that other jeweler was going to do it for a certain price. And the diamonds were going to be the exact same diamonds that matched the other diamonds around it the same size cut color everything...I asked him if he could do it for the same price. So I didn't have to travel to my other jeweler, he said, yes. What he didn't tell me was...that he was gonna use in stock diamonds that he already had laying around that was not the agreement. The agreement was the diamonds were supposed to match! All the other diamonds already set in the ring!! IF he wasn't going to do it that way, he should have told me. So instead, he used diamonds, he just had laying around or in stock, is what he told me after the fact and if I wanted them to be a perfect match that I would have to pay double after he already did the work and told me why that he would have the same cut in clarity as the other diamonds i had in my ring And the diamonds did NOT match. That was not our agreement very unimpressed With this situation!! I FEEL VERY LIED TO and he was not a very nice person to begin with. He said that he would do exactly what my other jeweler was willing to do for me at the same price and when you tell someone you are going to do something specific then you should do it exactly how you say, you're going to do not lie to them. And do the job with what you have laying around and then tell me that if I wanted them to match after the fact that I would have to pay double. So I had to take what he did even though I am infuriated right now. I will just go back to my other jeweler. I cannot believe. I got duped like this so very upsetting it was definitely not our agreement!! I definitely feel like he...
Read moreI’m very disappointed in my experience with JWB. I called ahead yesterday to ask about the appraisal process for insurance purposes. I felt rushed off the phone with unanswered questions. I called ahead this morning about stopping in and yet felt the person on the other end was a bit snippy with me. Walking in and going into detail with my rings, I felt talked down to. I returned with the requested paper work and I felt like an inconvenience. I gave over the requested information, and asked when to expect a phone call. The gentleman helping me scoffed and said it’s a long process. Which I would have known had he not rushed me off the phone the two times I called ahead to ask questions, specifically saying I didn’t want to waste his time after hearing the same tone twice. I asked for my rings back as I was not willing to support local business after feeling talked down to and like he had better things to do than treat me like a customer. I nearly stated how I felt about our interactions and that I wouldn’t be giving him my business, but didn’t feel that expressing my feelings would do anything. I’d recommend finding an alternative and someone who cares enough to answer your questions without being talked down to, and makes you feel comfortable leaving your...
Read moreJWB is a what I like to think of as a ''Hidden Treasure" -a small shop owned & operated by Bob Grandbois. I purchased a 3 marquise cut Sapphire w/Diamond accents ring from a FB sale site. The ring had to be enlarged by 5 sizes which can be quite expensive if taken to any larger, known & advertised jeweler. Bob quoted me a more than generous low fee. In addition, he repaired 2 gold chains (broken & in desperate need of cleaning/polish) & a 5 Ruby bracelet (missing post). The request of 1 chain to be shortened while being repaired was overlooked, however, Cameron (apprentice) & Bob took care of it while I waited (approx. 10 mins). I wish I could post before/after pictures.
I can not say enough about the service I received -the craftsmanship is exceptional & service was verv time efficient. I would absolutely recommend checking out the shop & all that it holds! I also enjoyed the conversation that we held during my visit & may even pop in from...
