This was our experience, and we will never spend our money there in the future: My husband and I took our 4 boys there to pedal boat for the afternoon. We arrived at 2:40pm, and asked the worker, Annie, if we could rent 2 pedal boats. Annie informs us that 1 pedal boat is being used at that moment, 1 was broken down, and the other pedal boats were stuck out in the water, and couldn't be used. My husband decided he would take a canoe instead, and we would divide the kids up in his canoe and my pedal boat, once it returned. So, we go back to Annie and tell her we decided we want the pedal boat that returns at 3pm, and 1 canoe. She says, "the pedal boat is being used." And I replied, "I am aware, but we would like it when it arrives back at 3". We started to ask Annie how much it would be, and if we could pay now (by this time it was about 2:45pm). She informs us that she can't accept the money yet, because it's not 3pm, and she cannot "hold" any of the boats for people. We decide that our family will sit on the bench that is about 10 feet away from the rental shelter, so we could go back over there to rent it right at 3. We head back over to the rental shelter at about 2:55 pm, knowing that we will have a 5 minute wait to rent the boats at "3pm." Low and behold, there is a family in line at 2:55pm, paying for the pedal boat that we were told we could only rent at 3pm. Apparently, it was okay for that family to pay for, and rent the boats before 3pm, but it was not okay for us. She was well aware that we stayed close so we could rent them, right at 3, like she said we had to, but rented to someone else before we could walk up to her at "3pm." She had horrible customer service skills, was really rude, and talked in circles like she had no idea what was going on. We were far from impressed with this experience, and would NOT recommend it, especially if, "Annie" is working the window. Good...
Read moreThe park itself is nice but the atmosphere is not so much. I saw 3 main rules posted throughout the park during my hour there. No smoking, no skateboarding, and no motor vehichles on the walking path. In just 1 hour, I had to weave my way through 2 different groups of kids skateboarding who would not stop to let people through. 3 different people smoking (my girlfriend has serious breathing problems and the smoke really makes it hard to breath), and while walking down the path that explicitly says no skateboards or motor vehichles, we had to get out of the way because a car was behind us for whatever reason. The park is nice but no one follows the rules set to make it feel nice. These rules are not enforced and I just felt I could not relax like you should. A real shame that some people can't follow a few simple rules that ruin things for the large majority of those who do...
Read moreGreat place to take the family and have a picnic/cookout. There's many different things to do there they have a pool open during the summer months form Memorial Day to Labor Day. You can even rent a shelter, walk the path along the river, play shuffleboard. Also has a lot of pokestops if you're into Pokemon go great place to level. They have basketball courts, they have young kids playground and older kids playground, volleyball courts. They also have a music concert every Thursday with local artists they. One of the best places you can go as a family and have a good time. If you want to know the price to get into the pool go to the YMCA website for Findlay Ohio and I believe they will have it there. I posted a couple pictures of a rock. Should try to find it. Hint: somewhere...
