Pretty sure the 5 star reviews are friends and family. Prices are high, service is slow. DO NOT buy the insurance. I paid up front about 300 in insurance which seemed OK but getting the phone is a serious PITA. dropped one about 2 months after I bought it. The deductible on it was $100 and it took roughly 1.5 hours of awkward standing around and staring at a teenager to get it done. I was told the next time it would be $150 and after that there were no replacements. I was told people who break 3 phones in 2 years "Really shouldn't have smart phones". Well my phone was smooshed again so I went into the store on Monday first thing. They didn't have the phone in stock so the girl in the store had to send someone, somewhere, an email. I was told "You are lucky you got here first thing in the morning, she'll probably respond really quickly". She didn't. I left. No calls. So much for instant new phone replacement. I called in the next day at 2pm since I hadn't heard anything to be told that girl who took my $160 wasn't in and the abrupt staffer can't check her emails, call back tomorrow. I asked a few questions and suddenly there was information... A phone had been ordered and I'd get a call as soon as it is in. Also when I asked for a manager I was told there really wasn't a manager at that store. I'm holding my breath.
When I used to do the $10/mo insurance through Verizon it was roughly 6 clicks online, $100 deductible and I had a replacement phone at the door the next day.
EDIT - 5 days later no replacement phone. I've called 3 times got 2 different, unwilling to help people. 3 different people all just sitting around waiting for a phone sale. Won't check, have no one to contact for...
Read moreI just had the very best experience at Verizon I have ever had in the ten years I've been with them. I went to the Verizon on Olio and met Clark. At the other stores i was told to look it up on line or they would give me the run around. I never left feeling I was helped or the problem was solved.I was ready to switch companies. I am very thankful that I stopped in and had such a positive person help me. Not only did Clark take the time to explain things to me but took the time to help me understand the problems I had been having. He didn't rush me and was truly interested in what I wanted to accomplish. I have a new phone and honestly enjoy using it instead of fighting it. Also I was told if I had questions or concerns to call his cell number for help. I was not pushed from one person to another. If I had problems he was going to be the go to for help. I now also have Verizon internet, and television all which Clark explained and hooked up . I would and will advise anyone who needs a phone, internet or television updates to stop and meet Clark. Read moreI am writing this review to commend Emma, the service agent at your store at 116th and Olio if I could give her 10 stars instead of five I would… I am a retired AT&T, vice president, so disgusted with AT&T service that I was willing to pay more per month to move to Verizon. My order included the transfer of two phone lines, a watch and two tablets. One phone line was located with my son in Denver.… Naturally working with AT&T was a problem, but Emma was just incredible at overcoming every obstacle in the way… Her service was beyond anything one expects anymore in terms of quality, customer assistance, friendliness, and patience. She was such a delight to work with. I simply cannot imagine how my experience could have been improved.
