I have never been more disappointed or offended by a place that we genuinely enjoyed going for the food. This was our 2nd time in the last month first time was during the week and not busy at all and we couldn’t get waited on. Then we went on a Friday night and it took 15 mins for the bartender to come over and ask if someone had waited on us and she is always great and was great in our drink order and taking our order. My husband and I got the same meal the country fried chicken and mine was just fried chicken there was hardly any gravy on mine. Waited for the bartender to come back to get more gravy and another drink and never came. Then the manager comes and says are you doing ok and we so no not really and chuckled like we were kidding and I said no we are not. I wanted more gravy and another drink but, nobody wanted to wait on us. She brings us the check and barely apologizes and said i comped your drink. We gave her our card and when she back she said thank you and sorry, try us again when it isn’t so busy. I was completely flabbergasted, she is the manager I assume telling her customer that. I worked the service industry and was in awww. Drop it then when we got home my husband looked at the bill and she did not comp my drink, she deliberately lied to us. Again, I have never been treated so poorly and will never return to the Murphy”s in Fishers and tell all of my family that lives close by not to visit as well. Very unfortunate because we love the food. We work in the sales industry who take clients out for lunch and dinner as well, we will spread the word to not go here, food good, service is absolutely horrible all the time. Word spreads quickly believe me and there are a lot of options to go...
Read moreI dont know who will/needs to hear this but last night I recieved probably the best customer service I have had in a very long time. I come from a restaurant background msyelf so I have a level of understanding of the business but I also have high expectations. My sister and I arrived and it was very busy - nearly packed. We wanted to sit outside and were told the bartenders would take care of us. They did not. The male bartender that greeted us was very rude and unfriendly - being busy is no excuse to be rude to a customer. That excuse doesnt fly with me; I bartended for years. I ordered a grey goose and soda with a splash of cranberry. It came with no cranberry. No big deal. I went to the bar to ask for some and was ignored while they completed tasks like clearing dirty glassware. I finally got my cran and was thankful and pleasant and went back outside. All in all we waited probably 15-20 minutes with noone coming to take our order. But we love Murphys so we decided to move inside to a table; hoping for better service. Amy was our server and she was absolutely amazing; she was kind and attentive! The manager (also Amy) stopped by to check on us and was five-stars above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Even the host Devin or Dylan (sorry) - went above and beyond to take care of us. In my 45 years I have NEVER experienced a turn around like this and truly left feeling all the good vibes and like a valued customer. So from the bottom of my heart in a time when good customer service is rare - thank you so much! It really made a huge impact on my and my sisters day and...
Read moreI wanted to love this place. Great location and seemingly decent menu. When we walked in the hostesses were attentive even with telling them we’d be headed for the bar and it was overall clean. That was about as good as it got. We sat down and waited a little while to place an order with two people behind the bar and three people sitting at the bar. We weren’t offered different sizes but given the large (which we LOVE but choices are always great). Ten minutes later we asked for a menu, because, well, no one gave us one. It took 30 minutes to place an order. Even though we were hungry for an entree we realized it would probably be a bad idea. We were right. Potato skins were soggy and sour cream was warm. Onion rings needed five more minutes at a minimum. We waited with empty beer glasses for over ten minutes. When we tried to get bartender (1)’s attention he just lumbered away, sweating more than I’ve seen anyone sweat in a short period. Or maybe that was because the garage door was open on a 92 degree day.. bartender (2) never looked up from her section of regulars. I mean it - never. We needed beers, water refills, ketchup, and by the time she showed up - the check. Skip this place. The food is very sub par. Service makes it just...
