This bowling alley is more for adults/leagues then It is for family fun. It is your typical bowling alley that’s been there for many decades and you can smell it! But to be fair, that is the description of most bowling alleys left today. We called ahead to see if there was “open” bowling at about 4:50p and we were told if we came quickly we could play until 6. We left right away and got there at about 4:15 thinking we would be able to play until 6. As we walk in the door, the owner asks us if we are the people that called and we say yes. He says, “well I thought you would get here a lot sooner, you probably only have time for one game now”. We said that was fine. We ended up finishing our game at about 5:43, I asked if we could play until 6, knowing we wouldn’t be able to play a full game and we were told no. I’m not trying to give a bad review based on this interaction alone, my review is based on my experience all together. Just be aware that there are no bumpers and the whole lane seems to veer to the right. Good for teams? Probably. Good for family night with younger kids? I’m...
Read moreThe surrounding businesses are very seedy, but once you get inside, it's like you've entered a completely different building. The staff is very friendly, down-to-earth, and knowledgeable; the lanes are very clean and well-kept; and best of all, the experience is much different from that of most other bowling alleys. The balls are small, meant to be held in one hand, and you use three of them at a time (Instead of the usual, two). The scoreboard is not automatic - you manually enter the number of pins you managed to knock down before moving on - but as long as you understand the rules, it's very easy to use, and you can get back to playing faster than you would in a normal bowling alley. If you live in the area, don't pass up the chance to visit just because of the location, or else you'll be missing out on a truly...
Read moreVery odd location on the second floor. My boyfriend, son and myself found that this wasn’t really a place for children. It seemed it was a “bring your own bottle” customers had different beers and alcoholic beverages, this is not a place I recommend your children. The staff was great there isn’t food options or beverages, just about 6 lanes of bowling, the place wasn’t well kept, boxes everywhere and random tables. I’d say this is more for a league. Also, I was concerned as my son and I weren’t wearing socks and none were offered, maybe this is normal but I am familiar with these business providing socks to avoid any infections. -I have updated my post, the owner responded as my first comment wrote “this...
