Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue Thrift Store — Local services in Fletcher

Today, I first shopped at their location in the corner and then moved on to where you actually donate. The girl at the first location with the glasses is always extremely nice. Whenever I have gone in to the other location in that same area there is a lady that goes by the name of Kim that is never friendly. Usually when I have been in there in the past, she is complaining about her health issues, to which I have always been sympathetic. However, today I felt that I should leave a Google review. To say she is rude, abrasive and confrontational is being kind. I had asked about uranium glass and the kind gentleman working did not know what I was talking about, she yelled out of the back in a rather hateful tone that she didn't have any right now. To which I responded thank you. After looking through their store, I had another question about glass, and asked if I could speak to her and as I looked through the drapes into the back, I see her roll her eyes, hear her grunt, stand up and come out. I told her if it was a problem I could leave. Our interchange through the whole process was ridiculous. She was so hateful and so rude. When I told her how she was acting, she grunted once again and told me she was in the middle of something in the back. She then tried to educate me on what uranium glass is, which is what I had a question about to begin with. I don't know how this store stays open with her being in there, much less, her the director or head of the board of directors. Although I absolutely believe in their mission, this thrift store's prices are way too high. Both locations are crammed with merchandise, because their prices are too high and their inventory does not move. I recently donated some sewing patterns there I had gotten at another local thrift store for 25 cents each and say they marked them at $2/each. Please, please don't tell me they need to mark up the donations to support the rescue mission. The stores are so crammed with inventory they are almost un-shoppable, so, how is that helping? Such a cute little place!!! There is always so much fun stopping by! You never know what you’ll find. It makes a big difference to know that there is a purpose to what they do there. The animal rescue connected to the stores is a few minutes down the road. The place is easy to go through and clean. And even more welcoming is the atmosphere! The people working there are always fun to interact with and helpful. We learnt there are two stores in the same parking lot: the actual thrift store and a smaller one, where the donations are received.
