Goodwill Store and Donation Center — Local services in Fletcher

Not my experience but deserves to be shared

“i stop at local goodwill this morning . this lady & her little girl came in and asked if she could have a pair of shoes & a jacket for her child.the manager told that they could not give her anything.she was in tears by this time .she looked like she needed some shoes also .i felt sorry for her .the worst of it is they all stood around laughing at her .me & SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE JUST WALKED OUT .U COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HOW COLD & HEARTLESS THEY WHERE . I TOOK HER TO SALVATION ARMY THEY NOT ONLY GAVE HER SHOES & A COAT FOR LITTLE GIRL THEY GAVE HER THE SAME FOR HERSELF. PLUS A VLAUCHER FOR FOOD.I THINK GOOD WILL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. PEOPLE GIVE THEM STUFF & THEY ARE GETTING RICH OFF OF IT . BUT DONT RELIZE WHERE IT CAME FROM.I WILL GIVE TO SALVATION ARMY...

The one on Mills gap, is great, great customer service, organized well and would go back there The one in Fletcher had 7 deep waiting, a women asking the price of every item slowed it down, no problem but the next lady rang up her stuff didn't have enough cash, couldn't find her credit card had to go out to car to look for it. I watched her, she walked slow as a snail to her car and back, holding line up for another several minutes. All this would have been a non issue if they had opened other register. Other employees came up but dissapeared again as we all stood there. I am very patient but this was ridiculous. The little lady at register went at at a snail's pace too, poor thing needed some help. Overall this is a great store to shop at. However today when I was checking out I had a very negative experience with the store manager. I questioned why the prices of certain movies was being changed during my purchase without it being marked as that price originally or why there wasn't a sign at the movie section stating the prices. She said the prices have always been per disc (even though in my 10 plus years shopping there it hasn't been like that) and that there was a sign. Then she just walked away during the conversation. I don't mind the prices changing but not during a purchase and i would like to be treated with respect when I ask to speak with a...
