I used to come here every tuesday because I liked to look around came in last Tuesday found a pair of heater vents for your floor "the ones that just pop into your floor" they were marked at 1 each so I grabbed them along with a sink drain strainer for 50 cents I proceeded to checkout with these items as I was at checkout the guy freaked out on me because the vents I had picked he said were marked at a higher price so I switched the tags Is basically what he was saying well to prevent this from escalating any further I just told them to keep them because you can buy them new for 3 at home depot and I still bought the drain piece for 50 cents from them and gave them a dollar for it because I always give them my change from my order because I always have as they are a good service to our community but I WILL NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN AS I DO NOT LIKE TO BE CALLED A THEIF I hope your business thrives and wish it success but it will FAIL miserably if you continue to treat your customers like that and charge almost retail prices this is supposed to be HABITAT FOR HUMANITY not your local retail home...
Read moreThe only part about Habitat for Humanity that I think is truly wrong is how you have to be low income to apply but those who are disabled and have an even lower income dont make enough income to apply ...Those who are young disabled and have a child should most definitely qualify ..My condition makes it impossible for me to have a full time job (which in itself makes me feel like a lesser human being than others) so if I was on my own as a single mother It would be impossible for me to provide a good life for my son (who deserves all the nice things that kids who's parents have a great income have ) ...im lucky that I get plenty of help with my sons needs because There aren't alot of charities that truly help single moms and their children ..As a community we should do better to help those in need. We shouldn't look down on the poor bc it can easily happen to anyone ..And if we helped the poor out more especially those with children then we would be a stronger community as a whole ..It shouldn't be so difficult this day and age for a single mom to get all the help she...
Read morePLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!! No one should approve of the fact, that customers are not assisted with getting furniture to their vehicle. I was told by both ladies at the front counter, that I had to bring my own tools to take a bed frame apart. They had no tools for me to use, nor did they have anyone at any time, to take the bedframes apart to transport. I would like the management to know, this is totally illegal consumer relations. Their insurance company would not like to know that they're putting customers at a safety risk, trying to disassemble furniture for purchase, and furthermore, it is discriminative against the elderly and disabled, who cannot dissemble furniture, even if they did have their own tools. This is entirely against consumer law, and I am positive it violates their insurance policies. I would not recommend buying anything at this business, until they follow the correct and lawful procedures, concerning the...
