I’ve been visiting the Flint Institute of Arts museum for years and have been ordering the London Fog Lavender tea from The Palette Cafe. I love the flavour of this ☕️tea, and I’ve been meaning to get lunch here now for some time. Today, I talked my son into eating here for lunch and we had the Caprese sandwiches. The sandwich is made on homemade bread 🍞 from Detroit, with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes 🍅, onions 🧅 and pesto sauce. The sandwich 🥪 was slightly grilled and came with a pickle. The sandwich was substantial and tasty, the pickle was crisp, the tea was hot and soothing and the server was kind and professional. We sat outside the cafe and enjoyed the ambiance of being near the museum. The sandwiches are a little more expensive than a submarine shop, but they were great quality and tasted delicious!
