I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received.
I live in the Springs and have a Can-Am Ryker that was giving me troubles. Showing VSS codes an stuck in limp home mode. So I took it to the nearest authorized service provider which is in Pueblo West. I paid for a tow and waited over a week to here back from the shop. Finally I called them and they told me it was a bad VSS module and they were requesting a new module from the manufacturer but it often takes time to get a response.
Since I was warned about the time it would take to get a response I didn't bother checking back for a few weeks but when I did I got the same story. This repeated every few weeks for over 4 months. Finally, I called the manufacturer myself and found out that they had no open ticket on my Ryker and that the shop never called them. After telling them thewhole story the manufacturer BRP said they would call the shop and begin the service ticket.
Bottom line after nearly 6 months and numerous phone calls the shop told me that with the direction of the manufacturer they determined it was a low battery. That's it! Nearly half a year to determine the battery was low. And they wanted me to purchase the new battery so they could put it in. I told them that given the length of time and the multiple times I was told lied to about how the VSS module and waiting on BRP to get back with them, that they should replace my battery for free. The manager agreed and I was told a couple days later I could pick it up. I arranged a ride out there and began to ride it back the 50 miles to town. Well little more than halfwayit broke down. Not even 30 minutes after picking it up.
I had it towed to my house and refused to take it back to that shop. After checking around and talking with friends I decided to give Freemont Motorsports a call. Chris in service practically diagnosed the problem I 5 minutes over the phone. It was towed to them and they had it repaired and returned in under one week. And because Chris was able to determine that it was some warranty work the other shop has missed, it was covered by the manufacturer.
This is the only shop I will take it to...
Read moreFremont Motorsports, of Florence, Colorado seems like the old motorcycle shops that cared about their customers. A rarity today. No high pressure. No hidden costs. Just straight good and friendly business. And, their prices are always great I saved thousands of dollars on my Spyder compared to any dealer in my region (NM, AZ, CO, TX). And, I have spent many months looking.
I bought a new 2020 Can Am Spyder F3 Limited from Ryan. Very personable young man who works parts and sales. I appreciated his friendly, honest and knowledgable approach to the transaction.
Haven and Kystal are the gals behind the desks. Both are fun and seem to enjoy their jobs. They got me out in no time.
As I said, I spent months trying to find an F3 at a decent price. Because of the COVID, and the fact that Spyders are made in Canada, supply is scarce. So, many dealers, having limited stock, would not deal or have increased their prices. Fremont Motorsports discounts their inventory.regardless. According to Ryan they do that all the time.
Motorcycle dealerships should be about the sport and the customers. Old time dealerships were a place for kicking tires and joking around as you picked out your motorcycle or parts. You knew the dealer's name and he knew yours. But, those shops are almost all gone, sold to large conglomerates which care only about profit margin.
That's why it was a pleasure doing business with Ryan, Haven and Krystel. I just felt good about buying from Fremont Motorsports in Florence, Colorado.
So, thanks everyone at Fremont Motorsports.. I am enjoying the ride. And, I am very happy I did business with you. Just wish I lived closer to Florence, so I could have my Spyder serviced there. (And, give Krystal a hard time. Which I found out is a...
Read moreI would NEVER TAKE YOUR STUFF TO BE WORKED ON HERE!!! I paid these greedy degenerates $1,078 to fix my wreaked atv. I ended up having to do THERE job and track down parts after they had my atv OVER 2 MONTHS! After speaking with the manager about my front brakes, I gave them permission to plug my front left brake line, and specifically told the manager to LEAVE the front right brake line on as it's against the law to remove someone's front brakes entirely. Well apparently the mechanic took it upon himself to remove and plug my only front brake line, not tell me and let me leave! Now the awesome part! I repeatedly ask the service desk, manager, and technician to look at my front left and right tire as the beads were beat to hell and leaked air! Well they "checked" them and stated they were in good working order! I go pick up my 4wheeler drive directly to tanner trail and 10mins on the trail going up a difficult part my front left tire just falls off the bead which in turn caused me and my 4wheeler to roll backwards down a nice Rocky ledge..... There mechanics are hands down the dumbest people you will meet! The manager is a arrogant prick. If you value your life and your equipment I WOULD NOT SHOP HERE OR LET THEM TOUCH YOUR EQUIPMENT! The nice thing is I paid with a credit card and was refunded my money for there disregard for my safety and for not doing there job! They couldn't even perform the simplest task of servicing it and filling the fluids and greasing it! Fremont motorsports is trash, thank you guys for almost...
