I never had an issue wherever I shopped Aldi in many states but tonight I thought the cashier was about to get physical with me. All I did is ask him to come on to check me out but he ignored me and kept on dusting off self check out and he told me if I donāt like his attitude to use self checkout and started throwing my product in the basket continually mouthing off. He even tried to leave the checkout area when I asked him to stop throwing my stuff in the basket. His supervisor came out and started to tell me that they have a procedure they follow and dismissed the cashiers behavior as if it was nothing. She never asked me if something was wrong. She just commenced to tell me about your procedures. I told her that heās throwing my stuff in the basket. I was told they donāt bag groceries which I already knew. I was shopping Aldi before these were born. I guess rude behavior is normal and tolerated by management at this location. I am asking Aldi, if being rude to customers and employing irate employees that apparently have no customer orientation is part of their procedure? This happened just a few minutes ago and can be viewed on your surveillance cameras. The cashierās name starts with a āKā. Donāt like to mention names on internet. I probably wonāt be back there. I was a weekly shopper but this new night staff isnāt customer friendly at all. I will spend my money where I am treated as a customer. I am reminded by what Sam Walton once said, the customer can fire the CEO on down by simply taking his or her...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI when to this Aldi on my way home from airport. This is the second time shopping there, cause it 30mins from home. You can zoom the pictures and see for yourself. I try calling the location but you canāt get the call to even go through. This place needs health and safety inspections as I will email health department. First of all you someone who was hungry and ready to cook got disappointed . The chicken sausage expired date is in 2026 but the sausage itself has mold or some type of white stuff around it. I then moved to open the vanilla latte bottle as I opened it up and warm it, cause I like mind hot I tasted a bad taste in my mouth, look up the bottle and saw it was expired since August 1st. Sometimes things will not be expired, but the product itself is bad. As someone who is very particular in what I eat this was a huge disappointment for me. Employing few workers and more self check out just to cut costs itās really unfair. I walk in and walk out without seeing no employees on the floor thatās bad. Some of the shelves are empty unorganized. Since yesterday Iāve been spitting cause I still have a bad taste in my mouth. Safely checked should be done, people get food poisoning...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEdited: Below is my first review. Fortunately we tried Aldiās several more times. Maybe management could have better introduced the concept when they first came to Flowood. The selection is limited, but the store is stocked with first class very fresh products at very reasonable prices. I estimated my recent haul would have cost $150 at Kroger. Instead it was just $75.00. I would describe Aldiās as a Fresh Market with Walmart prices. And my cat loves the shopping bag.
We were excited to try it out a new store. But were left underwhelmed. First we didnāt know you needed a quarter to unlock a cart. As bad luck would have it, didnāt have a change. We tried to find help. There was literally one employee in the store and he was too busy to help with a cart. We looked around. They have a very limited selection even of staples. The store was very clean, but sparse. Itās not worth my time for the savings to buy a limited number of items I need and then have to make a second trip to Walmart or Kroger to buy the rest. I might try it one more time because not having a cart cast a pall on the experience. I get the charge, but there are no more homeless people to steal carts in...
