Love Nails Spa — Local services in Flowood

My first visit was a week ago, I read the reviews, and they all were good so, I made an appointment with a woman because I've been to other places like these and my experience with men doing my nails has not been good. When I arrived, I was told to sign in, and to go to the back for my pedicure. Evidently if you are not a regular you just get whoever is available, and a man was going to do my pedicure. It was ok, but not the best that I have received. When the pedicure was done, they moved me to the nail area, and again it was a man who was going to do my nails. My nails are short, so I needed a tip or a full set to give them a little length, but I wanted gel on them. I guess he didn't understand what I wanted because he prepped my nails and proceeded to add acrylic to them. I haven't done my nails in a long time, so it took me a minute to realize what he was doing by then it was too late. The final product was not great, they were chunky, and they did not look natural at all. They only lasted an exact week, and they started falling. I was already planning on taking them off and going to a different salon to get what I wanted but they fell like they were just...

I honestly cannot recommend them at all.

1. I called days ahead and scheduled an appointment for 4 of us. When we got there, we never even got “checked in” (after asking) and had to wait for almost 30min. And only two of us got seated then. The other two didn’t get seated until we were almost done so we didn’t even get to really get our nails done “together”.
2. Once I did get my nails done, my design was honestly terrible and didn’t look like the picture!! The lines were not clean at all and the design wasn’t opaque. You could see the background color straight through it. I would have rather been told she couldn’t do the design than to pay for that.
3. I got dip+tips along with one of my friends, and the other two got gel on natural nails. We all barely made it to a week before nails were breaking/peeling! 10 days max.

I saw several pictures (with designs) that made me feel confident going here, but they must just have some not great manicurists working there.

My friend and I went to get our nails done here yesterday. We walk in and tell them we both want our nails done and they acknowledge that. My friend goes first and I ask if I can sit by her. The lady tells me yes. Over the hour it took for my friend to get her nails done I was completely ignored while everyone else was taken care of. I even said in front of the guy doing my friends nails “Maybe I need to walk out and come back in to be acknowledged” (this was said multiple times). I realize I could’ve said something but I’m not a confrontational human. I gave my review 2 starts because my friends nails turned out pretty. I may give them another go later in life but this experience has turned me off from them. I ended up going to Anthony Vincé Nail Spa in Ridgeland and had the BEST nail experience I’ve ever had.
