Nail Clinique — Local services in Flowood

My first experience with this lady. She’s was nice nasty and I thought by going back for her to correct the issue at hand the experience would be different. It was my fault for not correcting it immediately. She had patience with me to screw me up. She come off as wanting to please you but she has this streak in her that is very unpleasant to bear witness to… I asked her for cluster lashes she gave me individual it was not full. It’s not what I requested, if she would have had a better understanding there would have not been any misconceptions. She should have confirmed if was unsure. I like volume in my lashes so she applied cluster on top of the individuals. One side was shorter than the other, prior to me leaving she had the audacity to say in her language and English, you know how they talk like they don’t talk/speak fluent English to take advantage of their accent like we’re stupid or something. Stated that the lashes she applied made me look like I was cock eyed. I joked it off, what is that to say to a customer for no apparent reason.I came back for her to correct it. She reassured me that she would resolve the issue but this time she definitely did her big one. She took a lot of my lashes due to her putting glue on the actual lashes and suppressed it down. I requested for her to put glue at lining of the eyes lid to hold lashes better. She did the opposite causing a great amount of lashes to be extracted out. I had a professional to take them off so that I wouldn’t damage or lose anymore lashes. The lash tech stated to me what she did to me was intentional to take make sure they were snatched out. I’m so saddened by this because why do black people deserve this type of treatment. We make sure they see the fruits of their labor and get or have gotten in the past poor service just trying to patronize their heartless workers. It took everything in me not to go in there and give her what she deserves. This should be a wake up call everyone is not going to be like me and walk away. One of us that’s is not like me, you will get one that’s not level headed and don’t have anything to lose and really will make you feel exactly how I felt per experience I encountered with you. No weaponed formed against me shall prosper since you call yourself giving out biblical verse key chains. You will reap and get what you deserve.God sits high and he looks low. Vengeance is mine said the lord. You know what I had to come back after you replied and elaborate to your inaccurate statement. You’re a compulsive pathological liar and the truth is not in you. I have no reason to lie on you. And to say I stated to my daughter to shut up. I don’t even dialogue in that manner. We were joking about your crappy job you did. The third time when I called there’s no way I would’ve wanted to get back in your chair. I wanted to get you on the phone and read you in a professional manner. For lying and trying to prove a lie to your customers you want gain in God eyes He knows the truth and so do you. The reason of this review is so this doesn’t happened to anyone else. We both know what happened. When I talked about my race I was talking about us in general the treatment that we experience from people like you and others. It’s also personal with you because of the experiences I had with you and the next time you feel like you can mistreat someone they will share a review just like I did. You’ll think twice next time. I desperately needed a new nail salon a month ago! I happened upon Nail Clinique a month ago and was incredibly impressed!! From the appt scheduling (online, which is a dream btw), to the owners taking their time to explain their products, services, and amenities (drinks and snacks!) this is a high-end experience! I convinced my husband to get a pedicure. He has not stopped talking about how great his feet feel! I told him!! I branched out and had one finger bejeweled. Obsessed! The nail art I’ve seen in pics and on other clients has left me speechless! I look forward to some unique designs in my future. I love the fact that this salon is family owned. You can tell they take pride in their work and want their clients to have a unique, personalized experience. The salon atmosphere is peaceful, beautiful, and not overcrowded or overwhelming like others in the area. They don’t rush you in and out. It’s definitely an experience and worth the drive if you don’t live in the area. Not to mention their pricing is not only reasonable, they beat all the other salons I’ve been to...

I had the most amazing experience at Nail Clinique! This was my first time visiting, and from the moment I stepped in, Chona and Johnny made me feel welcome as if I were at home and completely at ease. I had booked my appointment through their easy-to-navigate booking website, and they greeted me by name as soon as I arrived—such a nice personal touch!

Chona gave me the best pedicure and nail set I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail and skills are unmatched. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and I could tell she genuinely cared about giving me the best experience possible. My nails have never looked so beautiful, and the pedicure left my feet feeling soft and refreshed.
