Initially I had contacted the store for a unit that did not have in stock that was on sale in the Kimbrell's flyer. I was advised I could order one from them then they put me on hold and found the Shelby store had one in stock. I went there the next morning right after their 10 AM opening, unfortunately the person I attempted to deal with (let us just say wasn't having a good day) remarked their store was independent and though they had the unit (which was ALSO listed in the flyer she handed me), they did NOT PRICE MATCH other Kimbrell's stores and their was $100 more. I ended up talking to Corporate who had the area Manager call me, which he did a very short time later, and apologized for the issue and was truly miffed by what had transpired. I ended up going back to our Forest City store where we had purchased furniture years ago, and the difference was like night and day. Met by friendly people, my salesman assisting every step of the way. THIS was the Kimbrell's I remembered. He was parient as I measured several units and priced them, settling on one that was also on sale, though not what I had originally come in for, but a great bargain. I was going to buy the floor model, but my salesman checked and a customer already had it set aside for them. They told me they could order one and I was expecting late next week, this being Friday, but no they could habe one Monday! As with most customers we had a price range (cash) and with delivery fees it exceeded our hoped for cap, but the Manager worked with us to not only order the unit for a Monday afternoon delivery, but was able to work out delivery fees that were right at our cap. It was just after completing the purchase that the District Manager called me. He was genuinely concerned about my experience at the other store but elated to hear my salesman and the store Manager made me feel like a valued customer (which is how I have ALWAYS been treated there). They currently have a small giveaway if you buy a certain amount there; didn't quite qualify but I did ask ... NO COMPLAINTS, who know might have been my lucky day. Thankfully having had prior experiences with our Forest City store, I didn't let the Shelby experience embitter me towards Kimbrell's (and even that was interaction with a single employee, which obviously didn't reflect the store or managements values). I was just going to price check and view their selections however the salesman and staff were all so friendly and helpful! I ended up financing a bed and kitchen table which got delivered 2 days later. The delivery guys were quick and professional without any damage to the apartment. Phenomenal staff and outstanding service! They made me feel comfortable, worked with me, and have a new lifetime customer! I highly recommend and I can't wait to go back for more furniture and appliances!...

From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and treated with kindness and compassion. The Forest City store has wonderful staff and Mrs. Twula is quite possibly the sweetest person in the world. Not only am I getting the set that I wanted but Kimbrells is giving me the opportunity to help build my credit and a way to replace appliances in the future without worrying if I have the means to do so. I am extremely pleased and grateful for such a wonderful company...
