Sculpt Studio of Hair — Local services in Forks Township

This salon was recommended to me by someone at the mechanic shop, after I mentioned my neighborhood barber retired. I'm not normally a fan of salons and prefer the old fashioned barber shop experience in its simplicity. My experience here changed my mind.

My stylist, Caroline, made me feel welcome, as did all the staff. She wasn't old, she wasn't Italian so I was skeptical at first. I even told her this. LOL She quickly put me at ease. The place is meticulously clean. The other stylist ,Laurah, was in between clients and appeared to have deep cleaned the entire salon during the time of my visit.

I was amazed at the job Caroline did, especially with a men's cut, since the margin for error is very slim, with short hair. She did a very neat job, took her time, and it was surprising that my hair looked like it was finished with a razor using just a scissors and clipper.

Since they offer coloring, I decided to experiment, my first time even considering such a thing. I figured what the hell, worst thing is the natural brown and new gray sprouting up would grow back and if it didn't grow back I could just use lemon Pledge on my chrome dome I was left with.

The results looked quite natural, Caroline went over color options and there were quite a few to match my natural hair color. I have received many compliments on my appearance, saying I look younger, etc, and a few other guys from the barber shop have also gone there and were happy with the results.

The place is expansive, looked brand new, comfortable chairs, plenty of room unlike the claustrophobic feel and layers of dust in some old school barber shops. I have been going to Sculpt Studio of Hair since they first opened. In all this time I have only ever had positive experiences. Sculpt balances a more elevated salon feel without being snobby. The stylists are always, first and foremost professional, but they are also kind and welcoming. I have only gone to Laurah for my hair, but every one of the other stylists goes out of their way to say hello and engage with me during my visits - and even step in with helpful opinions or advice on my hair from time to time.

Additionally they are always adding unique touches to their services and overall experience - giveaways, gift bags, updates around the salon and offering new services and products. The little details add up to an all around great experience.

Susan and her styling crew are gifted, considerate, and informed about all the top-notch goods they sell. It appears that the stylists are ensuring for each client that we are taken care of in the manner in which they would prefer to be taken care of. There is no reason for me to leave here.
